They aren't just skins and have their own set bonuses. But they can be aquired in game without amiibos. It's a grind but those pieces of gear are in game. I think other than the Sheika mask and Ganons sword. Which are literally just skins that do nothing special.
Not a bad price. I did think they would work on getting the from factor a bit smaller before releasing. But it's still a huge silly looking accessory. As long as it work, doesn't matter I guess as you won't see it with the head set on.
Sweet. A very nice set of changes in this one.
Well the Switch is my first Nintendo system since the n64 minus a 3ds. So far from a Nintendo fanboy, but mine doesn't have any issues. WiFi connection is fine, joy cons don't disconnect in my setup, screen isn't scratched because I don't just slam my Switch into and rip it out of the dock. I take care of my stuff.. Everything it is supposed to do it does.
Same, but also same with my Xbox1 and Ps4 from launch. All working great. According to the people here my one example is enough to prove a 100% success rate. Just like they are taking this one example and claiming all Switch consoles are shit. Every piece of hardware has a certain fail rate whether it's design flaw or just plain hard are failure. Sometimes the design flaw is down to people being too stupid, like the joy con strap. But, companies should realize how dumb some of the people ...
It's still just one persons videos about this issues being blown up whether he normally supports Nintendo or not. Show us, IDK, since it's supposedly a big issue, 10 more examples. If it's such a huge deal that should be easy.
It does depending on the article and topic at hand. If it didn't sell well, was a niche title, etc people would say "Well sales don't equate to quality" but in this case that doesn't work out to a "win" for some of the incredibly insecure people with weird amount of attachment to specific brands. So sales now mean more in this case. Later this year when COD releases, sales won't matter as a measure of quality.
This. For wire. That's the only material I buy.
I fell through the map after coming down from my first tallneck. Nothing since other than a few invisible walls where they shouldn't be. But it's an open world., their first at that. I'm surprised/impressed there isn't more.
I think he forgot the /s. It's obviously a handheld. Built in screen, battery, controllers (although removable), tiny carts for the games, 32gb internal storage, uses a Nvidia Tegra chip (mobile chip, similar to their tablets, just a custom version). Nothing about it says home console. Sure it has a dock but so do other mobile devices.
Midnight can't get here soon enough!
Looks like a decent racer to start off with on Switch. Supposedly runs at a solid 60fps as well which is very much appreciated for a racing game.
Nothing else that is a gaming handheld running open world games at 720p 30fps lasts that long. Still waiting for someone who thinks this is bad to provide an example of at device that's does it better. Laptops can pull that off, but they aren't the size of a Nintendo Switch. People just like to spout nonsense.
Going to be tough to hit 4k 30fps for 1k in every game. From Nvidia you will need a 1080, even that won't do 4k 30fps on every game out there. Not sure what AMD gpu would be the equivalent. But it's going to be easier to hit that mark, or at least get closer with these cheaper cpus.
I'm going to rent 1,2 Switch. If I like it, I will buy it. Going with Zelda and Bomberman at first. I know it's not there day 1 but it's in March, so Snipperclips is on my radar for the launch window. Watched some gameplay with my son and we both wanted it right away. 1,2 Switch, I think we will have to experience.
Managed to grab my psn ID. :)
.
edit: mistook different Nintendo accounts and capital letter usability..
They both look fantastic in their own ways. Looking forward to both.
No one trusts Polygon until they give a good score to an exclusive on their platform of choice. lmao
I think partly because outside of the wolf, Ganons sword (just a skin), and the Sheika mask (just a skin), the armor sets can be aquired in game without amiibo. Unlike most dlc that is available, which you have to buy to access certain items. But to be fair, you don't see dlc taking off points in reviews for many games. Sure consumers would shit on EA, but their ultimate team shit gets a pass all the time in reviews.
