What they added this time didn't require a wipe. They just did it so there was a fresh universe for everyone come launch day. The players who had already played were not effected, other than they might have come back and been in a different location. All progress was kept.
Good points. Enjoyed reading something written in a way that people actually speak. Instead of the carefully picked as to not offend anyone words you get in most articles. About the weapons and ships, you can upgrade them. No bug, just a mechanic missed by Daymeeuhn.
It's not a bad game at all. But literally only takes about to 2-2 1/2 hours to complete. That includes getting all trophies. The visuals are pretty nice. It's a rather simple game. Something to relax and play. Not a game that's going to take a lot of thinking. You can't die or lose progression. I enjoyed my playthrough of it. But don't really see me going back to play it again.
100 being more than 40, that lines up with my 40+ statement. Not sure how I twisted anything . I just said it differently. He says 40-100, I said 40+. They mean the same thing. Sorry for not remembering a statement from almost 2 years ago word for word (which is why I said "I believe"). But that certainly falls into the "never" time frame you claimed.
“That journey will take like a long time,” Murray says. “If you know what you’re doing and all of that kind of thing, some speed runner will prove me wrong, but [it’s] like 40 to 100 hours. A good length of time. But that is doing absolutely nothing else but traveling forward and that is min-maxing it, knowing exactly what you're doing. I hope that's not what the majority of players do. I hope they get really distracted and end up actually on the outer edge of the galaxy in a trade ro...
I believe Sean Murray said 40+ hours. Devs always under estimate what players can actually do. So that sounds about right. It's going to vary depending on how much time is spent exploring vs heading towards the center.
@shuvam Ha, if I worried about disagrees I wouldn't come on n4g. I just figure it's people who want the game to fail. I guess they figure it's better for someone to attempt make it sound bad by saying its a grind. When it's far from it. An hour at most to get your ship going and equipment fixed, is very far from a grind, in video game terms. Sure you will need to gather other things along the way. But you will be doing that anyway, to trade, unless you want to play the game a...
It really doesn't look too bad. That guy was just slow and didn't teleport items back to the ship. He kept going back when his inventory was full. I'd say an hour, at most to get your ship going. Based off what has been seen so far. Probably much less if you prioritize gathering and repairs over exploration.
Well, my 780ti is still doing fantastic at 1080p, but I'll be in the market for a 4k capable card at some point. I prefer a single card so this or the 1080ti when it's released...still waiting another year.
I've always enjoyed playing Destiny with my son up until the last maintenance. Now it's unplayable as we get constant disconnects when we try to play together. Has been fine for 2 years, now this. I want the new dlc, but won't buy it until I can play without losing connection.
They are definitely out of good ideas for new Pokémon. Wouldn't hurt them to look at the fan made Pokémon for inspiration. I've seen some good ones.
No vr announcement yet. I'd guess it would be on both if it does go vr. Right now Steam has the better preorder deal. An upgraded ship rather than the 10 avatars we get on ps4. Everywhere else you get a ship, we get 10 pictures..lol
edit: talking about digital preorders on their respective platform
Like what? Using Armageddon with my last worm alive that I tunneled deep with on every turn previously is a totally legit strategy! ;)
Putting the whole list on one page will get more people to read your whole list. 8 and 7 are both on my list as well..
Watch the presentation. You will see their chipset. They showed exactly what's under the hood.
I normally don't care about disagrees. But man I wish the person would say how they disagree with an absolute fact on this one.
Has no one on this site ever heard of downscaling? You don't need a 4k tv to run 4k content and benefit from the improved visual quality. If your display will support the resolution, your fine.
This will be the first game I start up when my PsVR arrives, if it does turn out to be a launch title.
An over clock on the 480 could get you to 6tf. Or it could be a varient. Not the base 480 that AMD will sell to pc gamers.
Well, damn. Guess I didn't make the cut on a "public" beta.
edit: after seeing the email, it doesn't look like an invite, just looks like it's asking for platform for those that don't have their platform already set on the website.
