Makes Gears of War 3's launch number seem even more impressive. Battlefield 3 is multiplatform, excessively hyped and launched on all 3 major platforms. Hope EA and DICE take the time to stop gloating and fix the game.

Have you played Battlefield 3's campaign because that's essentially what you described. Waiting for AI to open doors to progress forward is the most stupid think I've seen yet in a campaign. At least Call of Duty does much better and much more exciting set pieces.
I'm so disappointed in Battlefield 3. I didn't have high hopes, I didn't buy into the hype but I still expected a solid game. My friends and I still can get into the same squad, the game's buggy and laggy as hell. I just don't want to play it anymore!
You mean the buggy, laggy multiplayer that even a day 1 patch didn't fix?!
The multiplayer is the only part of the game worth a damn. I'm sure someone would be willing to take the second disc off his hands for that $30 and spend the $10 on the online pass. $40 and the $10 for the online pass is a bit too close to retail to make sense.
Yeah I agree. I see an over reliance on killstreaks even more than in Modern Warfare 2. The support strike package also has me concerned with your streak not resetting upon death. It seems just too easy to get to 18 kills and call in a guarded support drop. Ballastic vest for an entire team just seems like giving everyone juggernaut. It just all seems made for exploitative players. Doesn't seem at all balanced or well thought out.

That's the same thing I just said in another article. It's ridiculous. There are so many cars you could enjoy the game without the DLC but in every car pack there's going to be that 1 car you really want to drive or own and that's what tips you hand. How about giving us a few months to digest and get bored with the content the game launched with or how about just giving us all the content and letting us enjoy the damn game!
God, I hate DLC. There are so many cars in the game to acquire, it almost makes the hundreds Turn 10 will offer as DLC irrelevant. Just give us the God damn content when the game launches and stop nickle and diming us. The game just came out for God's sake!

The should track console sales in the Central Americas and Caribbean. Those regions are devout Sony supporters. Almost everyone I know back home in Trinidad has a PS3. Many have only 2 games GT5 and Fifa and that's it. They don't want anything else.
ODST had great content, more content than games released today. A 5 to 7 hour campaign, cooperative campaign and campaign scoring, Firefight cooperative multiplayer, access to Halo 3 multiplayer with all the multiplayer maps and access to Halo Reach's beta. How many games today offer than much content? And, the single player was actually freaking fantastic and engaging. Arguably one of the best in the franchise.

Yeah, I don't think the console version of this game is going to have the same critical reception as the PC version. This may be more Rage than Uncharted when the dust over at metacritic clears.
I think Skyward Sword just became the front runner for Game of the Year. Time to dust off the Wii I guess. Hope it still works.
Ah, anything but a 10/10 for Uncharted 3 around here is sacrilege mate. To even appear to condone an 8/10 is blasphemy. You're lucky you're not being threatened with a public stoning. A disagree or two wont hurt.
