I don't get and will never get the hype behind the Halo franchise. Just doesn't make any sense for a mediocre series to be this lauded.
Leaked information my anus! Every point listed could easily be assumed.
What was the 24 hour downtime for?
Dude, I'm going to the midnight launch and heading straight online when I get home because you know by morning, they'll be at level 65 or whatever about to prestige for the first time when the game isn't even in the hands of most.
He's obsessed with anything XBox 360 related.
Bubbles.
Please shut the hell up fanboy. Seriously.
Yeah, it's shaping up to be a fantastic game. Rugged and brutal.
These comparisons on GameTrailers are useless. Always have been. The videos are highly compressed resulting in terrible banding. Anyone who has ever said they can tell the difference in GT's comparisons are lying.
Okay, fanboyism aside, let's be honest here; even if Agent turns out to be a fantastic offering, it will never have the cultural significance and impact the Grand Theft Auto franchise has had. Grand Theft Auto IV's simultaneous multiplatform launch validated Microsoft as a real player in the console gaming market and legitimized it's console. Secondly, FFXIV is an MMO similar to FFXI and Square Enix has confirmed that they're considering other platforms for the title. Let's break it down; if ...
I realize the mods here target a very select few posters whose comments are seen as inflammatory. That could be the only reason Headshot81's comments haven't been deleted yet.
Exactly! I'm like what the f**k, I know I'm not the only one who watched the live stream posted right here on N4G! I know I trust Lens of Truth's live stream rather than a single post on an obscure forum. Fanboys can believe what they will but the fact remains, Terminal Reality claimed to have used the PS3 as its main development platform and that version ended up being far inferior than what is essentially a port. They need to explain why that is and where they went wrong in the development ...
Meanwhile Nintendo is laughing at both these idiots, and about to release their new gimmick that will be just as "essential" to the other consoles, two years after Nintendo has sold a buttload of consoles.
Motion controls will never be an alternative or replacement for the controller for core games. It will not have the precision, feedback or immersion. It's just another gimmick.
Ah . . . what?! 0_0
My point is, you already have motion controls that no developer, not even first and second party developers, have yet to implement properly or even make use of. You're basically saying that someone else got it right and you didn't so you're abandoning ship. That's bogus. The fact is, motion controls wont replace the traditional control for the core game or gamers. It only makes you look like a follower.
Ah, more pointless tech BS that only interferes, not enhance the way we play games. More tech BS for publishers and developers to spend more time and money trying to implement in games we wont buy or play. YAY! You can tell a pathetic, flamebaiting blogger when they can't even be bothered to hit "spell check".
I agree with you both. The Wii has amazing games that actually make use of the Wii's specific motion controllers. I think had it been encouraged and better implemented, a number of great ways to implement the PS3 controller's motion technology could have been found. And as much as you want to be awed by them playing Burnout Paradise using Natal, it's an absolutely ridiculous premise for any real gamer. Playing the game that way gives you absolutely no feedback.
It's funny how it's fine to label games like The Agency and Final Fantasy XIV as exclusive when they're "multiplatform". In every E3 wrap up I've seen it stated, "Announced Final Fantasy XIV as an exclusive" = plus for Sony.
Amazingly, he's right. If you go across to IGN or Gamespot for example, many of their overall "Best of E3" awards went to XBox 360 and multiplatform games. Gametrailers actually went against the grain with their awards.
