The challenges with the Unreal engine like any engine isn't the engine but the talent so your point doesn't make sense. The same engine that Batman is built on is the same engine Turning Point is built on. The difference? The talent behind each development team. In this current generation, maintaining a first party studio makes less sense than in previous generations. The average cost of developing, marketing and distributing a triple A title is between 30 and 60 million dollars. This is no l...
Ah . . . the guy mowing mofos down is Royce from Infinity Ward. He's a beast.
Your comment shows how detached fanboys are from reality and fact. Firstly, it costs more to support a first party studio's overhead and bear all the costs of developing, marketing and distributing a title than it does to write a check for 10 million so that a game is on the XBox 360 12 months before it arrives on the PS3; especially in this climate where console sales aren't software driven. Secondly, it costs 750 thousand dollars to licence the current Unreal engine which saves developers m...
Love double XP weekends. You get 300 points for each round of Horde. There isn't an easier or more fun way to rank up.
There was a 4 kill streak. You get a supply drop. I hope you get more nades and special equipment like RPG shells, claymores, C4 etc.
Oh.My.God! Those maps RAPE!!!! I can't wait. I'll be in line at midnight at Gamestop to pick up my hard case collectors edition preorder.
Will be purchasing this day of release. Unlike most whiners on the interwebs, I loved GTAIV and Lost and Damned.
You know what I don't understand is why both consoles can't be successful. It's like for the fanboys for one to be successful, the other has to fail. That's sad!
Yeah, it is atleast a week old.
SMH @ fanboys. You dudes are disgusting.
Pretty sweet!!!! Day 1 purchase.
I swear to God, you took the words right out of my mouth. Bubbles for having common sense.
A Bat Cave Home space is an amazing idea. The Challenge Mode on the other hand; that's pretty weak. It seemed like an after thought to add value but it's pretty repetitive and boring.
God, the amount of fanboy BS posts are disgusting. Let it go.
Why doesn't any PS3 review of this game take into account the Joker DLC when assigning a review score? Wouldn't more content warrant a higher score?
I can't see how anyone would want this or think it's a great idea. I play video games on my console. If I wanted to update Twitter or Facebook I can do it on my PC or my mobile phone.
This game's story is shaping up to be much better than the first. The gameplay elements also seem to have more variety and it's already been announced they will be more puzzles and the platforming refined with multiplayer and co-op. This is truly a sequel that improves in every way over its predecessor.
I'm sure the check for Gears of War 3 will be even bigger. Just hurry up and announce it already. :D
Just going on 2 years with my XBox 360 now and no one problem. I've been fortunate. (*knocks on wood)
