The 1080ti was the best card on the market until 6 months ago, they still cost $1,200+.
That's easily enough for 4k/60 especially on a dedicated device, as well as 4k VR.

There aren't 500 companies making large scale single player games. In fact you could probably count the number of companies making large scale large budget single player games on your fingers. And most of those companies would be Japanese.
