How about if they just cover the consoles the same way.
Greatness Awaits
It's a sad state of affairs for this Microsoft console.
Does it play PS5 games? Because that's a must for my next console.
@Neonridr
The cost of those cards doesn't matter. They aren't going to be in the PS5. The only thing that matters is the cost Sony pays AMD for Navi.
@ImGumbyDammit
Your always a special kind of wrong, let me correct you.
Zen "1" is: R1xxx and it's refresh R2xxx
Zen 2 is R3xxx and the refresh which presumably will be R4xxx
Zen 3 hasn't even been discussed on any leaked AMD roadmap.
If they can checkerboard there way up to 8k and play games as well as the Pro seriously give credit where it's due because that would be extremely impressive..
Yesterday Newegg was selling a brand name Western Digital 500TB's for $56.
I imagine there will be probably be options in sizes.
This is really only the second generation that's so directly linked to PC. In the past parts were far more specialized on consoles.
So when you look at whats for offer here Zen has been on the market for a while but the new 7nm Zen 2 will be the newest tech on the market. And Navi which hasn't even been seen by the public will be in the PS5.
I agree the absolute bleeding edge will always be on PC and after a few years PC will pull away even more....
Have you ever considered that Nvidia is overcharging?
Ahead of their time... hopefully their time never comes.
The fact of the matter is the same people at Microsoft who wanted always online back then still want always online now. And despite how they try to sell it it will never benefit the consumers. It's all about price control, as soon as they get all digital prices will skyrocket.
On PS4 most games allow you to start playing from the disk while the game installs.
Never going to happen.
I'm sure they are not talking about native 8k gaming, but support for 8k. Some support through checkerboard might be possible though, with checkerboard PS4 Pro pushes out basically double the resolution the hardware truly supports.
As for as the SSD, I imagine they will be strapping some form of NAND to the board directly with pathways directly to memory for fast loading. Given the custom (non upgradable like pc) nature of a console hardware and software you can hard...
Nice cut and paste... Are you doing an experiment to see which one gets more downvotes?
For science!
I want it to be called PS5.
@KickSpinFilter
Maybe your right, but I don't think so. PSNow is a service that provides games. Giving away BC for free doesn't harm PSNow's value if it has 800+ games. People are buying PSNow for the games not for the BC.
The two don't really compete directly.
lol not that guy who downvoted lol... he wasn't happy haha
I'd buy it.
I own the first two, actually enjoyed them both.
I don't buy EA and Actvision and Ubisoft games which are who I assume are the major offenders.
But I think all of Sony's first party games and most all of the offline single player games I have bought you just stick the disc in and can play while it installs. Even if there is a day one patch you can play the games before you get the patch.
