WTF are you talking about... PS4 has outsold xbox 3:1 month after month for 5+ years. Xbox is the most down year over year. Every year since 2015 xbox has sold less consoles than the year before. 2018 was xbox worst year and 2019 is on track to be the new worst year.

Cross play has been nothing but a smear campaign because xbox sells so poorly in Europe/Asia. If you live in Europe/Asia and you buy a game on xbox good luck finding people near you to game with.

PS4 will have games to the end generation just like PS3. And if you look at what they said it sounds like PS4 will also be supported a ways into the PS5's life as well. I think a lot of companies have PS4 games in development with launch dates past PS5's launch.
Steam already wasn't a monopoly there is Uplay, Origin, GoG and numerous other smaller online retailers.
And since it's my money I prefer the place that charges me less, give me the extra 15% in sales and discounts.
