I wouldn't be surprised. But that said they have had so much success at the $400 price point I can't see them passing up that "WOW!" moment they got when they revealed the PS4 price.
This is exactly the kind of stuff I want to hear.
Personally power isn't really that important but I can't wait to see how it turns out. I've had my eye on Navi as well, really looking forward to seeing what it's all about from both a console and PC perspective. And with Ryzen powering the console, gaming will finally push past the 4 core limit we have been locked at for almost 20 years.
It's nice to have Sony so straight forwardly a...

"Get a grip. I have my disabilities too. I'm almost legally blind"
Ah, I'll assume your dumb and inconsiderate because your always bumping your head walking into things you can't see.
See I can make fun of peoples disabilities too... I'm so funny!! (and not a total edgelord)
Everyone point your finger and laugh william_cade because he's different.
What is it you expect them to do or say?
They have been heavily promoting Days Gone, they just did State of Play where they showed new games and soon to release games. Dreams is about to have it's open beta, Kojima has been promoting Death Stranding and they constantly have PSVR advertising running. Along with rumors and patent filings for PSVR 2, backwards compatibility with enhancements and PS5 rumors ect.
Again what more do you want?
...
Your just making excuses to justify what is essentially a bad idea.
And your ignoring the point which is your giving up a lot of consumer value to save a few dollars which your going to pay back to Microsoft in premium pricing for digital goods versus physical especially over time if it contributes to less retail games.
There is a big winner from a digital only console, and I promise you it's not the consumer.
Huh, so how do you feel about Microsoft launching their games in the dollar store?
Yes, i'd like to pay to be able to not play any cheap disk games or any retro games later. Hey so much for that great backwards compatibility. But mostly I look forward to the future where old games still cost full price because they don't have to compete with used sales anymore, just like DLC and many current digital only games which are nearly always full price.
Oh, gimme a break... like it's a one way street.
xbox consumers
*cough* who never really bought their games in the past anyways "cough"
And Remedy can also blame themselves for the really good sales to the 100 million PlayStation owners.
You won't be missed, and Remedy will still have a big hit on PlayStation.
Cool, I look forward to Remedy's future PlayStation exclusives when they realize why all there xbox games haven't sold that well but their first big PlayStation game is their first big hit!
10:1 they plan to add them after everyone has bought the game.
As a PS4 owner I fully support you not buying the game on xbox. I'm sure Remedy will get the message loud and clear when they see which console sold the most copies.
@Sophisticated_Chap
Well... Microsoft came out with a whole Fortnite Console bundle so... Obviously Microsoft cares. And obviously Microsoft thought enough people cared to make it worth it.
Hey, if Name and Shame is what it takes to make a change then so be it.
I am not black but I got sick of hearing this kind of shit years ago, these people just ruin games.
Then sadly people on this site and others defend this type of stuff with out realizing that for every one person who is like "racism is funny" there are a dozen other people who stop playing the game.
Just out of curiosity how do edge lords like yourself decide whats offensive?
Are you offended because they find your edgy name offensive?
P.S. Every company has terms of service related to naming and I guarantee that type of name won't fly on the vast majority of them.

Third parties aren't "loyal" to Microsoft they are "loyal" to money.
What ever system is the most profitable is where the publishers will go, they will go anywhere there is money.
And in Google Microsoft has met it's match, because Google can money hat just as much as Microsoft can.
Yea, I saw that too, excellent.
He's was ticking off all the boxes.
