why is it that whenever images come out for a 360 exclusive, half the comments are from ps3 fanboys saying they are bull shots, but when it's a ps3 exclusive it's just one pointless comment after another? "stunning" "looks great" "beautiful" etc...

i have had no interest in playing cuz if it isn't constant lag, somebody is getting dropped, or a random crash. patch 13 (i think that's what it is) is a mess.

you do know that every website, magazine, etc has their own game of the year. so i'm sure some of those games got goty on some sites, and on others didn't. i know for a fact that batman beat out UC2 on several major sites.

that is right...it's all about tricks. rockstar's trick, apparently, was to allow you all the same great content, but scale back the resolution by 80p. i say, if that's really all they had to do (plus i think they removed some foliage) then that's a pretty good trick.

is no where near the scale of GTA or RDR, it's not as good looking, it doesn't ahve the world diversity, it has the same 3 side missions over n over. and there is no reason or incentive to run around outside of the main story missions except to find the collectibles.

gamers that are involved more with the community, like people who read magazines, websites, leave comments, etc... get the illusion that this is how most gamers are. it's actually the opposite. most gamers are uninformed consumers that buy 2 franchises every year and that's about it. alan wake is a great game that's getting overshadowed by red dead redemption. it's a shame that some of these awesome games didn't come out in 2009 when we had 2-3 OKAY games and nothing amazing (please don't reply with "uncharted 2 blah blah", i get it, it's the game that everyone wanted to be great (even me) so it must be -- yet isn't).
instead all these great games are piling on now and for alan wake to come out the SAME day as red dead...
it's an open world game. an open world game where everything you kill stays behind for a time after you kill it the after you skin it (the bodies don't just burst into orbs and disappear. they don't turn into light as a feather rag dolls). an open world game where you have full control over the camera, where you go, what you do, when you do it. an open world game with dynamic weather and a day and night cycle. and so much more. so yes...you're going to get some glitches....
