it's a weak comparison. the game looks crap on both systems. the fact that the resolution is better and the cut scenes are a little better means very little. if he wants to play it on 360 over ps3, that's up to him...not you.
i got it for ps3 over 360 and after playing it i thought to myself, if this is the better version, i'd be scared to see it on the other system...then i did and i barely saw a difference. somewhat noticeable, but hardly a deal breaker.... ...

also, good timing on the article cuz i just decided to play through it again last night. Only made it through the first act so far though.
definitely a very entertaining game...but i think 10/10 is a li'l generous. I will say that it has some of the best production values of any game i've ever played.

LOOK AT IT! left hand uses plasmids, right hands shoots and you have to alternate between the two. there are ghostly outlines of ppl showing you things that have already happened. you find tapes that tell you about what happened in the past....
We already played the better version 3 years ago when it was called Bioshock. why would i buy it again when it's not as fun or interesting?

It's cuz nintendo is the adult of the industry. the other 2 companies are children following daddy's lead. they really just have no idea what they are doing and are playing follow the leader...simple.
sony and ms only care about money. nintendo tries new things and sometimes fails and sometimes hits a home run. they let nintendo take the risks, then invest in the money makers.
When you consider the cost of hardware as it is right now, and the hardware that is in current gen consoles, you could build a next gen system that is at least 10x the power for under 700 dollars. and that's if i'm building a single unit, at home, buying individual parts (not bulk).
they build the same thing in mass, with optimized specs, they could probably crank out insane 500 dollar systems.
and they'd do it too, if the developers were willing...
i agree with you. there are still a lot of really good games that continue to come out. but come on. i'm getting really tired of gamers, especially the ps3 crowd, saying stuff like this.

what especially amazes me are all the ps3 idiots saying "it doesn't need a price cut." fine if you think ps3 is doing well enough to not reduce it's price, but why would you be against a price reduction? i'm all for cheaper electronics no matter what. regardless of how much i love my car, doesn't mean i'd be upset ...
There's plenty of crap on all the platforms. also, when it comes to these small 10-15 dollar games, i say you'd have to be a moron not to put it on your system. let the consumer decide. it's digital distribution, so even if nobody buys it, what do you lose?
