I think this game is going to surprised a lot of people. one of my most anticipated games this year.
I've had this game for one day and i've already experienced just about every thing the people here are complaining about. so why are people getting so many disagrees? the game is definitely not without his flaws and any object observer can see that.
seriously...the sony apologist thing is getting old. you're allowed to admit a sony exclusive has flaws, people. you don't HAVE to be a fanboy. that choice exists.
consoles killed the expansion pack.
remember when you paid about half price for an expansion and you got a boat load of new content (levels, campaigns, characters, weapons, etc...) running on the same engine? now you pay full price for expansions, and they are all called sequels. then they price gouge even more with DLC.
it's not even out yet. and i'm pretty sure most ppl are complaining. so wtf are you talking about? also, he isn't wrong. he didn't say anything about the number of maps in killzone. he just said that you get extra maps for pre-ordering. last i checked, a true statement is the exact opposite of "wrong."

exactly what i was thinking. if this guy didn't include this music in the video (the cheap kind that makes you feel some kinda thing), everyone would see it. i hope the guy that invented minecraft and his team completely rip off every improvement this tool makes.
so manipulation of the psp is okay because you have a need for some of the apps. but altering the ps3 is not okay because YOU can't see a need for it?
i think this perfectly sums up just about every ps3 fanboy's problem with jailbraking the ps3. you don't have a personal reason to do it, so everyone that's doing it must have sinister motives.

if you're going to make a reference to a current generation game to imply that unreal engine doesn't cut it, stick to the standard...crysis. since it is still the most technically advanced game on the market.

yep, exactly what i was going to say. i could tell after a few hours of playing that i was getting a ton of redundant abilities and inferior ones. i was pretty much locked into about 4 or 5 spells.
i ended up deleting rift after the 2nd day of playin the beta. it's just not fun. i don't understand why publishers are willing to spend the tens of millions of dollars it takes to create an MMO when these developers basically just keep trying to make the next WoW. the ...
i don't get the sudden criticism of un-originality. the most anticipated game this year is a sequel to 2 games that don't do ANYTHING unique. hell, most of the games that receive tons of praise this generation are some of the most unoriginal games i've ever played.
it's nice to see people calling out developers for a lack of creativity, i just wish it was more consistent. as it is, it just seems hypocritical.
it was the capitalists that exploited the other nations to be able to get the things that we have. we don't produce any of those things here.
also, just because capitalism works slightly better than other attempted ways of life, doesn't make it good. the excessive corruption that stems from this system is unbelievable and it's why all these nations are going bankrupt including the US (which has been more than bankrupt for decades).

dumb random sh*t stopped being funny about the time family guy got canceled in 2001.
all they are doing is ruining their name. the main thing crysis had going for it, that nobody who wasn't a fanboy could deny, was that they had the most visually appealing engine out there. the best looking game 3+ years after release. they could have set a new bar. instead, they gimped it to make extra money by releasing on console. and the console only gamers don't even appreciate it anyway. it's a lose/lose.
