Rock n Roll Racing was great!
i personally think killzone and resistance (actually the first resistance was fun at times) are crap. i still own a ps3. deadoralive, you just a troll.
and how childish do you have to be to still use the word 'gay' in places where it rhymes with part of the title of a game you don't like (and probably never played)?
have you ever seen a 360 fanboy (if they exist) or a pc fanboy say "gaystation"? no...and you won't. but somehow yo...
they can come out on PC too. as i have heard regurgitated tireless on this fanboy site...PC is dead and blah blah, people can't afford good PCs, etc etc...
so they are exclusive for the gamers on n4g...
anyway, i'm just happy to see so many new IPs. one thing i will say about all these exclusives we've been hearing about...they're mostly sequels... sequels to pretty boring, unoriginal games. i just want more diversity.
spe...
so the "graphics = good game" argument is back, eh?
not saying the game is bad, only played the beta, just not sure what the point of this video is.
unfortunately, this isn't going to happen.
for one thing, battlefield (not bad company) is a PC community game. console players won't get to play with 64 people so they are going to lose the epic feel of the battle fields. not to mention that battlefield isn't nearly as twitchy and, frankly, easy as COD so it just won't have the massive appeal.
with that said, i'm sure it'll do very well, but it's not going to topple COD (in sale...
really? you liked reloaded? you didn't think...you know...that is a was a bloated pile of crap that completely negated the quality of the original purely for the sake of leeching money from a population of people who thought seeing green numbers and slow motion hadn't quite been done to death?
interesting..
cheese toast? wow
i guess the point is that if activision now believes they can charge 15 dollars for 3 or 4 crappy maps and all you idiots pay for it, then they'll keep doing it. so when an actual good developer wants to figure out how much they can get for 3 maps, they'll use the working model. it used to be 5 dollars for 2 or 3 maps, then it was 10, now it's 15. it's sick. and your defensive of it is pathetic.
15 dollars for 3 maps? i'm sure there are plenty of retards willing to pay that too.
btw, the only people that are going to review dlc are people that like a game enough to shell out money to play it so of course the review will be high.
this isn't true at all. and have you ever listened to invisible walls? it's basically constant ps3 praise.
"Sure these screens make it seem close. But when you see Crysis 2 in motion, it doesn't look that good at all compared to Killzone 2."
if you had even bothered to click the link before expressing your opinion completely out of ignorance, you'd see that this IS a video comparison. wow
2 people made basically the same comment. and it sounded like this "i worship the ps3, i will defend it to the death. if you even think to say that a game that is exlusive to my god isn't better than sex, then you MUST be a fanboy to the 360 or PC. and you have to work together because the ps3 god and his followers are so much more powerful." seriously...grow up. there is only one type of fanboy in this thread. and it's not pc or 360. i personally happen to like ps3.....
StarCraft 2
as for the comparison, doesn't Crysis 2 automatically win since it's...you know...in color?
can't ps3 fanboys admit they are blinded by their fanboyism? of course not...so how hypocritical is it for you to expect anyone else to do what you can't possibly accomplish.
and yes, crysis still beats it...by far. and crysis doesn't cut corners either. every console shooter has to cut corners to achieve visuals that are even close (eg. heavy post processing, things in the distance aren't actually there, non-destructibility, limited color pallet, etc..) <...
and i have to agree with andrewryan. game felt like COD.
i also didn't find it to be visually impressive. it was VERY visually busy...but visually busy =/= good (unless you're a fanboy apparently).
double post, my apologies.
i consider myself a "hardcore" gamer and i've barely had any interest in touching either my 360 (sept for the 4 or 5 weeks i played reach) or my ps3 for almost a year now. there's an infinite number of hours of fun to be had on PC. in fact, i've had a blast for about the last month playing demos and betas...haven't spent a dime since i got bad company 2 over xmas for 7 bucks.
if they started releasing some child rape games for 360, bet you'd see sales skyrocket in japan
no, it's just a really crappy game that gets unwarranted praise simply because it's a ps3 exclusive. and it's a sad reminder of how unoriginal and boring gaming (not all games, but most) is becoming because the publishers make games for the mass market appeal. which means we're always going to trade off depth and quality of gameplay and story for mediocre experiences that unintelligent people can enjoy in short bursts in between sending 8 character text messages.
the evil path??!!!?? what a rebel you must feel like.
the game had two choices to experience the full game...full evil or full good guy. i bet you think you did something special by appealing specifically to the one end of the spectrum vs the other.
thanks for the laugh.
EDIT: The answer is, NO, your moronic one-dimensional character won't carry over. because this game, just like the last, will be equally one dimensional.
you said it just right. and that's exactly the point pachter and the rest were making. it doesn't matter if MS gets 2nd or Sony does, both did very well and both have great games that make them both worth owning. it's sad that you have so many disagrees for being so even headed. but that's typical of the n4g community. nothing but sony fanboys.
why can't you people just enjoy the games you get to play and leave everyone that gets to enjoy the ones you ...
