Sorry, but KZ3 was overrated. it's a very average game. Bulletstorm is a very average game, but nobody claimed it was amazing. so it's not overrated...just average. The difference between the 2: Bulletstorm is just lighthearted fun, and KZ is a dull, depressing drag.

the reason wow lost subscriptions is because ppl maxed out their gear too quickly and stopped playing til 4.2. that hits in 5 days, so you can believe all those subscriptions will be coming back.

Incorrect. if you scaled battlefield down to a few rooms and took out the vehicles and graphics, you'd have a very similar experience. Battlefield just ramps it up about 100x by adding scale, vehicles, bullet physics (bullets drop over a distance and you have to lead a runner or vehicle), classes, etc..
Dice should actually just take closed off sections of their giant maps and have a DM competitor for COD because the experience would just feel more solid.

The first modern warfare was overrated. and it was so appealing, not because of its "next-gen graphics," but because it was extremely easy to play and accessible by everyone. you got to run around like a mad man, chucking nades everywhere, and could still fire super accurate bullets and kill a guy with 2 shots to the ankle. it wasn't popular cuz it was good, it was popular cuz it was a dumbed down version of the genre. and makes average gamers think they're good at it. ...

i agree with you. a game with good direction is great, but we're getting plenty of those. a li'l quality sandbox does a body good.
The only real sandbox game though. I'll make time for it. Saints Row 2 co-op is some of the most fun i've had gaming this generation. played through it 3 times. :-P

dragon stuff is cool, but i hope the dragon difficulty doesn't scale to your level. i hope at the early levels you're forced to hide or flee...
that would really help suck you into the world...scared to death when you see them early on, but finally realizing later that you've become powerful enough that you don't have to run anymore.
what's not user friendly about steam? or any pc gaming for that mater? it's not like it's the early 90s and you still have to do your installs through dos.
there are also a lot of 5 hour games that sell well because ppl are somehow brainwashed into paying 60 dollars for em. i can think of a few from this past year that not only were short, but were crap, and still broke a few million.
