"Ori and the Will of the Wisps plays it too safe"
Combat is much better and a vast improvement from the first game as their is a great number of tools that can be used to dispatch enemies. Boss fights are a great way to mix things up. Stealth is a great way to add variety. The cream de la cream are the sequences when you are being chassed....for this alone it gets 10/10. The worm chase is pure adrenaline.
Not to forget a story that is memorable...
Not on PlayStation exclusive.
Published by Xbox games studios
FF 6 and FF 8 are the best Final Fantasy games and deserved to be remastered. But only graphically and slight gameplay adjustments nothing more. This way we can get a full game without it being split to exploit the fanbase.
It's not about being salty. I played the best version of the game on PC with RT on.
What didn't work is the fact that the game didn't sell despite its exclusivity. Sony didn't market the game...they hijack the marketing and didn't advertise the game at all. This stopped the game from being prosperous which was something Remedy wanted and the main reason for going multiplatform. 505 games made 2 bad deals with the published of Control exclusivity with Sony and on P...
Remedy made a bad deal with 505 games. This whole Playstion timed exclusivity is just didn't payout.
Yeah, it was for the sexy for the era not practical...but its didn't make sense to wear that top in a zombie apocalypse
It wasn't lame at all. It's just the competition outshined them with their constant update.
I didn't encounter any performance issue on PC. If this game was review on a pc would it have had the same score
Reviewers should give a separate technical score than very weirdy added into the overall score....there is no metric to it. Such as, if I encountered a visual bug or frame rate drop. How many points do I reduce...1-2 points or more
This game deserves it 9-10 score....what an emotional ending.
Perfect timing. Too bad its currently at 720p
Better question....will my Ps plus library of Ps4 games be available to play on the Ps5. I have quite a lot of games I want to tick off my list and I'm expecting to play them on my Ps5.
I agree....same can be said about FF7 remake
How many of those are PS5 games?
I didn't encounter any performance issue.
Reviewers should give a separate performance score than very weirdy add it to the overall score.
This game deserves it 9-10 score....what an emotional ending.
"You enjoy waiting for your exclusives and play old console games on a new console"
Halo Infinite, Hellbalde 2, Everwilds, Project Mara and FM8...Series X has 5 first-party already announced titles and right now so far Sony has Godfall...which isn't even first party. Guerilla Games are the only ones who are gonna make an announcement, I don't see anyone else from Sony producing any games any time soon. Its Sony fans who have to play the waiting game not Xbox. And by...
343i, the coalition, turn 10 and playground games are elite tier. These studios handle more than just single player but multiplayer which none of the Sony studios are capable of doing that.
Sucker punch, Guerllia and insomniac are far from elite tier.
Sony has bought majority of their studios
The games argument is mute due to the actual fact that there has been no games announcement for the PS5. Whereas Series X will have Halo infinite, Hellblade 2, Everwild, Project mara and Forza Motorsport 2 already in the pipeline.
Everyone is arguing for Sony studio's output of great games....but now that MS has 9 studios under their belt and along with their existing 5 studios the narrative has changed as there will be more games coming from Microsoft this time around....AAA and...
This is 100% a response to Xbox Series X spec reveal.
That's great...
But I'm gonna echo the same thing I said with the ps5 loading demo. There is a certain gratification of waiting for the screen to load when playing a game. The loading screen is a great way of pacing the experience without it feeling like you are jumping into the action too fast. The loading wait is great to make you think rather than a fast load that pushes you back into action which results in impatience....which is a trait of this generation.
Can we expect something like cross-buy from Sony when it comes to this game or do I need to buy the game again when it eventually lands on PC?
