Only people who have worked in the creative field know what that type of crunch is truly about. Having worked in the creative industry myself I know a thing or two about what the crunch these animators goes through and what it consists of.
First off, creative people have the most OCD way of working which leads to an obsession to strive for perfection. Studios know that so they hire the neediest looking animators, so they can be exploited because of their OCD traits. Becau...
It doesn't have the same spectacle as a live conference.
If E3 goes digital then:
-Won't have the developers coming out on stage and proudly representing their team and announcing their games.
-The reaction to a megaton announcement won't be the seen and appreciated(aka Keanu Reeves on stage)
Its great to see the leader of the publishers coming out and talking about games and the future.
-The E3 floor allows for journalists to interview...
Phil is a great leader. He is willing to show himself playing games and interacting with dev teams. This is a level of transparency Sony and Nintendo don't have.
When it comes to games. Ms has started announcing their next-gen games already:
Halo Infinite
Everwilds
Hellblade 2
Project Mara
At least they are having there own event at that time. Hopefully it will have third party game announcements and other publishers use that platform as an opportunity to show off their games which they would miss at E3
This is the E3 to kick start next gen, Phil Spencer is doing the right thing by having an event at the same time.
Cross-buy and Cross play with vita is one of the most irrelevant things out there.
If it was the PS3 to PS4 then yes but it wasn't. I can't take my save from the Witcher 3 on PS4 to PC/XBOX....so no Sony doesn't do cross-save and they won't allow it. This is the type of cross-save people are after not Vita to ps3/Ps4
They knew that Microsoft were gonna get millions of eyes on PC that's why Sony is releasing their games on PC.
Smart move by Sony, but now they have lost what makes them unique. They are still steps behind as Microsoft is doing things like smart delivery and cross saves between platforms.
"Sony already tried that. Didn't work."
Its because they didn't have the infrastructure and the means to do it.
"MS is doing it cause they don't know what to do with their own platform,"
Ms is doing it because they know where the business is going. They are clear with the messaging of Series X, a game console for the hardcore but a mismatch of peripherals and services. Everything coming from MS has been clear for the last 2...
They will be using Azure
I would have preferred a new entry to the series rather than a remake of a story nearly all gamers already know. Because of FF7 Remake there is nothing new to the Final fantasy series to look forward to for at least the next 3-5 years.
????
Wow...You haven't played FF7
"A Final Fantasy VII that encompasses all the elements of the original 1997 game, remade in 2020 is impossible in one release."
It is possible, The Witcher 3 had 4 open worlds including the DLC. Its not like they were working from scratch, they already had a template in place.
Do you know any open world world games with:
"- 7 Playable Characters (with unique fighting styles, move sets, and animations)"
This more style...

No one asked them to and there is no evidence that there are expanding the original story with significant content. This isn't something that should take multiple releases and several years to make.
Remaking the game is an insult to the legacy of FF7. A simple graphical remaster would have sufficed and have been greatly appreciated.
Hahahahahahahahah....this guy
It can't because it doesn't have day one XGS games and third party day one exclusive like Gamepass does.
Like next week I can pay Ori and then the week after than Bleeding edge
It's not clear enough. Square is not making a brand new game, they are making FF7, one of the most popular games on the PlayStation. We already know the story, this is just a remake of it and they are stretching it for no reason. It can be a full game if they spend one more year on it, then that would be more acceptable than a staggered release.
The issue here is we don't know how many parts will be present in the game. They are giving the impression that if the game is not ...
Project Mara
Hellblade
Halo infinite
Everwilds
I'm pretty sure that MS have should an adequate amount.
But you don't have to follow trends.
This remake has been overblown and the fact that we're not getting the full game after so long in development is pure nonsense.
"E3 isn't actually the biggest of the bunch."
But the most impactful one. The announcements at E3 are one of the most anticipated events in the year nothing throughout the year can dwarf the caliber of announcements at the conferences.
I don't care about attendance and most of the gamers that watch E3 don't either, it's all about what new games are being announced.
That would be acceptable if the reviewer is willing to change the score to reflect the game after the patch.
