It's not the length that is the issue but the lack of fulfilment when you finish the game. This game should have been priced appropriately as it doesn't have much content.

He pretty much set the tone for the Doom series here on out.

You are weak-willed if you support Valorant and their Tencent overlords

Wow....you haven't got a clue what they have reserved for the rest of the games, do you?

The butchering of the franchise begins

You can platinum your way through the game with just one button

The whole idea behind the ending was to change the outcome of the original canon

2123d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Completely understand your point of view. But the game does have its merits.
After the twist ending, I finally know why they didn't want to give us the full FF7 experience.

All of that is fine and didn't bother me. I had no issue with them expanding the story and characters like that....it's the very last section of the story that vexed me.

*Spoilers*

That section was altered from the original and gives way for them to change up ff7's story. The game went from a remake to a complete reimagine. And with Nomura incharge he will turn it into a Kingdom hearts level clusters****.

I played it....but I will play again when the definitive version releases on PC and Xbox on 4k 60 fps

It's a great way of testing out some mechanics and gain feedback.
I hope they do some AA single player games too

Trust me i didn't take the easy way out because the game was pissed easy and a breeze to go through. There was no incentive to do it any differently since the FFXV's combat didn't encourage using your tools properly

The other options were equally as bad.....magic in that game is pathetic. FFXV's combat did not encourage any level of strategic thinking.

the controller was inspired by Johnny silverhand

Turned based is no different from a first/third-person shooters ...as in it cant be changed its a general term is given. It's the mechanics around the combat that enhances the gameplay. In terms of turned based combat, it would be something like shadow hearts and lost odyssey where there is a timing system that allows you to get more damage if timed well.
In Persona 5's case its the immediacy of combat. Turned based combat is great it's just not appealing to the general ...

The other side with the skull looks really good.
I hope they make an Xbox series x version

2125d ago 22 agree13 disagreeView comment

The last part of the game with whispers takes the story in a completely different direction. This will later the story of FF7 not fix it....it didn't need fixing in the first place

2125d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's more than changed its a nomura level change

2125d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

Its far from outdated because turned based games such as persona 5, octopath traveller and fire emblem have sold millions and are highly regarded.

Square shouldn't butcher a series just to appeal to a new audience.
If the fun turn based combat stopped you from playing and enjoying a game then....git gud

It's more of a Tetsuya Nomura messing with the timeline that has no business being messed with.
