I swear this whole deal with Microsoft and Sony taking shots at each other is clearly reminiscent of what you just said.
It's great seeing the Vita getting more support (indies especially) and a cheaper price. However, why add Borderlands 2? I mean, I love the game, don't get me wrong, but it's a port of a game from last year, one that many people already own on PC, 360 or PS3. Unless they add a huge amount of new Vita-exclusive content, I can't see Borderlands 2 taking off with this verison.
The Vita needs original software to really build its identity. It's a great system ...
The point is that Bayonetta 2 is happening. It is bound for greatness if it's anything like the first, and if it doesn't perform well in sales, that's sad. But the fact is that we're getting a new Bayonetta game.
A truly amazing game doesn't need to sell millions of copies to be a fun and thrilling experience; sales don't determine quality. It will be bad if it doesn't do well financially (because that will possibly damage the franchise's futur...
Whatever. They can stick to other platforms if they think the 3DS is selling that badly. Hell, n-Space should go mobile.
In fact, looking at their library, their games would probably be better as 99 cent apps for iOS.
Wait, if anyone can have an Xbox One dev kit, that means that anyone can make a game, regardless of the quality/content, right? It could very well be Xbox Live Indie Games all over again.
I do like this idea of giving indie devs freedom and ease of access and I do commend Microsoft for doing that. However, there needs to be some quality control, or it'll look like the App Store and have only a few great worthwhile games beneath thousands of crappy ones.
Interesting, but will there be other Pokemon aside from the more humanoid ones, or will it mostly stick to Fighting types? It does sound like a fighting game after all.
First of all, the game is getting a number of scores outside of the 8-10 scores. Just ask IGN.
Secondly, maybe the "real" game is that good. Sounds to me like you just don't want the game to get those higher scores, so you have to justify that by calling these early reviews "inaccurate."
Lastly, even though I haven't played the game yet (though I sure as hell will), I have a lot of faith in Platinum Games. Their track record has be...
"Deadly Premonition, to me, is like the Birdemic of video games."
You have no idea how many volumes this sentence speaks.
Is he really that culturally relevant now? I mean, I know he's the second most subscribed channel on Youtube (next to those Smosh idiots), but I honestly don't see why he should get his own handpicked Humble Bundle.
Also, of course he'd pick Amnesia. Of course.
I've never pledged toward a Kickstarter and I probably never will. I know there are some good ideas on Kickstarter, I've seen them, but the method itself has too much uncertainty for me to put actual money toward a promise instead of a product.
A positive Wii U article? On N4G?! What insane person approved this?!
They desperately need to fix the harmonic recognition in the next game. I could barely get a single one to work during my 20+ hours of playing the first Rocksmith.
I kinda don't want Netflix watching Kinect watching me watch Netflix.
See, satire like The Onion is great and funny, but clearly gaming-related satire has a long ways to go. It's because of this brand devotion between fanboys that people ignore the fact that these are jokes and simply complain about how their console of choice is the best.
On the other hand, I can't in good faith say this is newsworthy or worthy of being an editorial opinion on something. This kind of stuff has a place somewhere on the internet; I just can't say it&...
It probably won't, but whatever, Square...
I would probably be more excited about this if all of the Rare employees who made those classic games like Banjo-Kazooie didn't leave the company a good while ago.
That thumbnail picture reminds me of how Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken eventually got localized after Marth and Roy appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Now Fire Emblem is a big hit for Nintendo in North America.
It would be a pretty cruel move by Nintendo to get Lucas in Brawl AND have an Mother/Earthbound announcement Miiverse community, only to have nothing come out of it.
If Nintendo does lower the price of the Wii U this year, they should definitely implement some sort of Ambassador Program for the early adopters. Otherwise, it just kind of seems unfair for those who support Nintendo enough to buy their new console at launch.
It doesn't need to be too much, but some compensation couldn't hurt.
Exactly. Apparently WB doesn't know what creates a larger multiplayer audience: having good multiplayer games.
It's called E3.
