Xabmol,
Like the fat guy in 'Way of The Dragon' with the nunchucks?
"Mama-Mia!!!"
Yes.
It is naive to think that anyone will invest millions into a game which will only return a fraction of the previous generation's profits.
Its a fine balance of giving us just enough so that we continue to buy the new machines, thus maintaining their margin and growing the base so that the bigger can follow.
Failed?
PS4 has sold over 20 million machines in 16 months!
That is roughly 1/4 of the PS3 user base, in 1/8th the time! That is ludicrous.
Expectations may not be met, but the new generation is anything but a failure.
They're not afraid, they're maximizing their potential for profit.
If you produced games, you would do the same thing. Its just a business decision. Its not wise to neglect a gigantic customer base. Those customers are profit for them.
I disagree.
Souls fans know this game isn't the same as the others, and that it is taking a different approach.
Initially, I too was turned off by the guns and the lack of shields and such. I have adapted though, and I let go of my previous fascination. I am looking forward to the changes!
It will be beloved by most and coveted by those who are looking forward to Tomb Raider.
Praise From Soft!
DS2 was definitely the lesser of the 3, but still a very fun game which followed the previous titles.
The combat and enemies were all cool, but the world was set up kind of whack, and the the enemies not respawning was a big mistake as far as I'm concerned. Some players like to grind, and we cannot if there are 1/100th of the enemy left because we killed them all.
Hopefully Bloodborne will have enemies respawning so we can continue getting as much blood ...
Bubble!!!!! Dude I'm at the bar and everyone just stared at me because I laughed loud and abruptly at that!
IGN -
"As a Christian gamer, I found all the elements of the supernatural occult to be offensive, and the blood was ad nauseum."

Same here! Sweet stuff.
Blighttown was just that. A blight on an otherwise stellar ass game!
The way the previous games played, with movement timing being paramount for survival, even the slightest of frame hiccups resulted in a tragic death.
So amped for this game!!! Screens looks sweet as hell too.
I'm really looking forward to entering a fog, w/o knowing if the other side is more board, or a giant boss wielding a ha...
Its not only that they dont know how to push the hardware real far, but that when a new machine's user base is still small, from being young, it isn't a sound investment in a huge AAA title if only 10 mil users are out there. Of the 10 mil, only a portion are going to buy the game.
Later in the life cycle, when the machine has a healthy and hefty base of over 50 million, developers and more specifically, producers, are going to go all in with huge titles so their ret...
Jesus, man.
You sure that's a good idea? You may be dead by the 5 hour mark.
Space and line guns
Business is dirty.
Exclusives are just that. Not available on other consoles, which opens the door for under the table dealings and the buying of reviews.
This is free enterprise and all is legal, provided you're discreet in your actions.
We cannot pretend that this doesn't happen. Its as routine as paying a toll when you drive over a bridge or through a tunnel. Its SOP for big business.
Lol!
IGN -PVP was against strangers and they were always red.

Greatest game ever made.
This game is going to move more PS4s than Amazon.
It is going to be gigantic.
9/10
Avg. over 100 reviews. A few 8s, around ninety 9s, and a few 10/10
Solid reviews for all.
Polygon will give a surprise 9. Even thought the game is mean and bloody, their score will reflect the greatness too.
"Ironic that Sony never wins on their own merits. They only succeed when others fail."
What about that statement is ironic?
Enlighten us.
Most games on ps4 are 30fps. What's with the shock?
Oh I get it now. You're just a douchebag
