I tend to agree.
For me, the previous 3 games were my overwhelming fav last Gen,(with TLoU a very close 2nd), and Bloodborne is hands down the best game of this Gen thus far.
Its not even debatable.
Part of the appeal of Bloodborne is the Demons Souls aspect. It feels and sounds like Demons Souls. It takes you to that time when the game was still unkown and it was still blowing everyone's minds.

You can't do that. A video game is not a TV or a car or a book. It is software that will ALWAYS have things to nitpick, especially as games grow to the level of complexity they're at now.
The game is not broken and it runs great.
I would say no also. I have killed some enemy a lot and they're still there.
I think that aspect of DSII was awful and they received a lot of flak for that.

Oddly enough though, I have lit around 5 lamps and I have only used the gun weapon around 5 times total.
I find that you don't even need to use it at all. At least not yet anyway. I find it easier to just pound guys away after a roll, rather than shoot them, switch to two hand and pound away.

I didn't know about the waving or bowing to NPCs and they react. That's cool.

Best thing to do is to buy moltovs and always have 10 and then you're good to go.
Always use a blood vial if you have 20 and an enemy has dropped something.(carry limits are 10/20 respectively). Those two things will help.

It brings back all the Demons Souls feelings. Its very nostalgic while fresh and new at same time. Its beautifully done.
Its hard. I am still on first area and I have died about 12 times. Its tough, but fair. It is exactly the same difficulty as the other games.
I know you haven't played them, I am just reiterating that they're the same. Whatever you have read about the others, applies to Bloodborne.
One thing I've noticed is the gameplay is smoother, so its much easier to count your attack button presses and not overdoing it while attacking.
Right that's what Im saying.
In Skyrim, honestly, the ratio of actually playing vs staring at a load screen was about 3:1
Everything you do in Skyrim requires loading. Fast travel, load. Open a door, load. Go outside, load. Go inside, load.
There is no ADS with guns.

That's just it. You have to find the shortcut first, so when you die, you can go right back to the boss.
Yes its tough, but its far from crazy. Its how all games used to be.
Games that checkpoint every five minutes are the worst.
Thank God for Gamefly, because when I spend 60 bucks, I dont wanna finish a game in 8 hours. That's so easy that it defeats the point.
