Playing with a shield is harder than just upping stamina and Dex. Its very easy when you're doing super rolls and backflios.
Shield usage requires skill as you also must always monitor stamina and time properly.
Only the magic shield spam was easy

Its not like they're impossible.
They're basically a throwback to 1980s- mid Nineties games. When games were a challenge to complete.
That's why people love them. The difficulty is not so much 'ramped up' as it actually is 'where it should be.'

Exclusive hits come in waves. There is usually a 3 month period of drops, followed by a summer drought, finishing up with a holiday drop. They're coming.
Bloodborne will sell 2 million by itself, and UC4 will move another 3.5
PS4 hasn't even hit its stride yet. XO hasn't either to be fair.
Both machines are going to be extremely popular through this year, with PS4 moving machines at another record pace.

Agreed. Its a nice accomplishment, but its nowhere near the likes of say platinum Demons Souls sans dying.
Diablo is basically a game in which any 5 year old pick up and kick ass at.
But you must not delay.
This is simply flapping of the gums.
Many many gamers had to figure out Demons Souls before the wiki existed and we guinea pigged the game the hard way, and it was actually a lot more fun that way.
Yes it takes about ten times longer and tons of experiments, but its fun. No gamer ever "needs" a guide.
I love Demons Souls and the lot because its the best of both worlds.
