For sure. Its just like the previous games where you have to press â—¼ and read everything you collect. The story is unfolded to you that way. You discover a ton of cryptic things to ponder while you're playing and eventually figure little secrets out.
Its such a great way to feed the game to the player. Its brain candy.
Yeah the three at once is a bitch. You have to roll a lot and watch them all. You can run out and fight them individually, but that comes with challenges as well.
Using numb mist helps. They can't heal and you can whack away.
Exactly.
One does not beat games or conquer games today. Games today are finished or completed like a book or a film. There is absolutely no point in playing a game that every single person can defeat. There should be an aspect of will and finding a way. Not having your hand held and having the game guide you.
Back in the day, beating a game meant something. I'd like for that to be the case again.
I prefer Cole overwhelmingly.
One of the greatest things about these games is the throwback to finding secrets.
Games today dont have that the way they used to. Souls games do.
There's a certain high you get from discovering stuff and moving forward through difficult areas, and isn't that what gaming is all about? Flooding your brains reward center with pleasure by doing the seemingly impossible in a fantasy world?
In my mind, the guys from From have the equatio...
You're letting others decide for you.
The difficulty isn't the only thing which make them awesome. They're not even all that hard.
You shouldn't miss out on any of them. They're way too awesome to let difficulty sway your judgement.
Soo you died so many times, like 19, yet only died 19 times.
You gave yourself away, man.
There's more than one 😉
I'm not telling where they are.
I miss the Tower Knight and the ManEaters!!
Being invaded ad nauseum in multiple areas is not user friendly. In those areas one cannot take two steps from a bonfire without being invaded by multiple players.
Bloodborne goes back to how it should be, like Demons and Dark 1. It is way more user friendly than Dark 2 I think.
I've gone thru one play through after about 65 hours and I am still not used to it being OK to trade blows with enemies because you receive lost HP when you connect.
The three previous games have programmed me on a cellular level to swat and roll and it is nearly impossible to feel safe while trading blows. Its just so different.
I love the fact that its like this, but I will never get used to it 100%. Its like driving for a decade and then all of a su...
Its real lame. The enemies dont respawn after 10 deaths and you can't farm.
Why that decision was made, I have no idea, but it ruined the experience.
Exactly.
Justify your own weakness by proclaiming that everyone else is doing it wrong.
That's what this was.
He's calling the best game of the Gen a waste of time.
He's whining.
Its ok to not like the game, but to write an article about how its a waste of time reeks of his inadequacy and his subsequent need to compensate and justify his gaming weakness. In short he is saying "I suck, therefore no one should play from this point on."
This game doesn't deserve such wording. It deserves praise or we will continue to be shoveled ...
Go away and leave us who wear big boy pants alone to play the game and enjoy it.
Lol. Our introduction to it was on that bridge after the first boss. You go out and 🔥 you're dead!
Had anyone else checked the Vileblood manifest?
There are players at the top who have amassed somewhere in the neighborhood of like 20,000 of those blood things.
That's why this glitch ruins the game.
Good. You'll be paired up with all the other cheaters where you belong.
I love Bloodborne, but I think I actually had more fun playing Demons Souls. Maybe its because we were guinea pigs at the time, having played nothing even remotely close to it.
That was a fun experience. My mind was blown. The idea of summoning/invasion/sharing items/writing notes, is just so simple yet clever. Its a superb system.
(Bloodborne doesn't have a talking birdie who wants stuff 😒)
