At the end of the day we are talking about a game. Something we play, not just watch. I prefer to be mentally involved and immersed through the actions I input and see on screen. Fluid and accurate equals fun.
When games focus too much on looks and the game isn't much of a challenge and too linear with a mediocre story, the game is stale.

Same here. I saw it while trying to look down initially. The bottom took a back seat to me trying to jump over to that ledge for an hour. I never made it that way.

Souls game, and Bloodborne are often so methodical that they're almost turn based. You just can't continually charge in and hack away. There's an element of realism with stamina and timing. That's why I cringe when ppl call it a hack N slash.

Everyone farms for vials. It doesn't mean you die too much. There are plenty of areas where there are no vials and unless you can do the entire area and beat the boss without dying once, you're gonna have to go back to Forbidden grave or Central Yarnham and farm them.
No one stars the game with 99 of em in their storage.

I am enjoying Bloodborne more on NG+ than I enjoyed my initial play through of Dark Souls.
I love it so much. It is such a blast to ring the bell all over the place the second time around and gang up on enemies and hunt invaders. What a pisser.

I just tested my first remote play with Bloodborne earlier this evening and I was astounded at how great it was.
The lack of R/L2 buttons usually deters me from doing so, but Bloodborne is on the bottom of screen, making it very playable and fun.
