Father G is an awesome boss for sure.
I actually found him before the Priest Beast so the fact that he was such a prick is just awesome.
I thought every boss was gonna be that difficult and I was in for one helluva ride. They're not tho. Lots of typical Souls bosses who are ginormous and you stand under them.
Arcane to 50 and use executioner glove to destroy everything. 😉
Lord Maim
I liked King's Field too, but come on. As hard as they were, they had nothing on Demon's Souls.
Try playing it with a turn based attitude.
Dont swing until you dodge the beasts swing. Repeat. Lure one atta time and learn the jump attack.
You'll be fine, man. You have to play Souls games in 2nd gear. You can only go into 4th gear when u have two guests, and even then your stamina drains and you have lulls.
What's a Ballard?
The way they did it was smart though.
Instead of having 50 armors, of which you wear only 1 for most of the game, or the best one at the moment, they gave us around a dozen sets which have roughly the same overall rating but with much diff specialties.
So in effect we are always mixing and matching the four pieces together to maximize a certain defensive effect which is predicated upon our current defensive need.
This way we keep wearing di...
Why not? That would be right on track with every other lifecycle sans the last one.
If the One were to live a healthy 6 years, that is perfectly fine.
Besides, nothing is worse for a gamer than playing on a system which has grown stale.
Always more is what I say. That applies to next Gen, beer and Star Wars.
When was either DS ever better than Bloodborne, let alone still better?
DS2 is clearly the weak link in the series and no matter how hard you push it or state otherwise, it will always be a lesser game.
Demons Souls was at least three times better than DS2. DS2 is better than Skyrim and that game was broken, so not saying much.
Seriously.
Come back when you've lost 200k and then died while en route to retrieve them.
I laughed out loud the first time one of em Bruce Lee'd me.
Its even fun in death.
Skyrim was broken.
It is about as polished as an underwater anchor.
No its not a waste. You sacrifice raw power for blazing speed.
I'm sure it does as compared to 60. Its relative though. After playing TLoU on 60, 30 looked weird to me.
30 is solid while you're alone in BB, but when you have 2 guests it stutters.
Use the pebble if you're having trouble. Lure enemies out one at a time.
Write notes! Good ones, or at least ones worthy of a chuckle. You'd be surprised how often you'll get a 'fine' rating in the middle of a fight and the accompanying HP boost is awesome. So write notes and use the community.
Ring the beckon bell. Help is always there.
When enemies are dying, you can hit them one more time to regain health. 😎
I like the Bloodborne armor system.
It isn't conducive to wearing a heavy or powerful set and finishing 70% of the game. All of the different articles of clothing have different stats with comparable overall rating, so one must mix and match for the area they're currently on.
Some gloves may have high Frenzy resistance, but the matching top and leggings do not. So you may wind up wearing one item from each set for the best defensive results.
No effing way.
That is all.
I didn't even perform a ritual until I was level 80 something so the first dungeon was so easy.
I wish I would have entered a lot earlier so they'd all be hard.
Take a shot when you come up the ladder from the Giants in poison pit, back to Yahrnam shortcut.
When you come up that ladder into the graveyard at night, the moon's effulgence through the trees is amazing!
I still love Man Eater.
Those fights were truly epic for me.
