All the hate for the Vita at this point is out of pure jealousy.

Microsofts biggest reason for success in the 360 is due to FPS games.
Most 360 gamers spend thousands of hours Haloing or COD online play.
I think Microsoft would do well to stick to that and to come up with a new FPS exclusive game. Halo was a machine seller for sure. We hadn't seen such sales out of nowhere like we did with those games. If they do that, they have a winner.

Even though Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a port, tomorrow when it realeses is going to be awesome!
The Team Ninja games run perfectly on the Vita. The Sigma + game was perfect for handheld sword action and I got a lot out of that game. This ported installment w/ a few new features should be great as well. The Vita is certainly slugging along, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I wouldn't say already, but SONY sure is in prime shape to do so in the future.
SONY had absolutely everything working against them this gen, and they still pulled past 360. More expensive console, came a year later, less games at first, worse multiplats etc.......

Absolutely no one can watch the Deep Down video and not think it was incredible. One can be in the midst of a methadone binge and they'd still be able to admire the beauty.

PS3 had alien-like architecture and some creative dudes managed to have it run some great kickass games.
-W/ this more conventional setup of PS4, I'm quite sure it will run games even better and all PS4 owners will gladly be embracing the change, along with said developers.
What I can tell you is that the major difference is that any AMD chip is going to be more 'mainstream' in terms of familiarity. AMD makes lots of CPU for pcs just like nVidia and such.
The Cell was specially developed for the PS3, by IBM, funded by SONY, and is anything but familiar. It carries with it a lot of different rules so to speak.
Devs cannot use the coding they were familiar with.

I can clearly remember going from joystick to Nintendo pad and initially not liking it. Then of course after a few hours I was fine.

Those interested in buying a PS4, for the vast majority, want nothing to do with PC gaming. If they did, they would be building their rig and talking about how it's the bestest everz.
No one has ever stated the PS4 will outperform high end PCs. You're just lying. It's your ego that created the lie. You feel like others are intruding into your tech world, but it's ok. It's going to be OK.
I must agree with the sentiment that this generation will have some truly beast games.
Look what developers came up with on XBox and PS3 this gen. Those 2 consoles have very limited hardware compared to what they are going to be using now, so yeah, the future looks incredibly bright.
Im wondering what Naughty Dog is going to do w/ all their PS3 knowledge? Seems kind of wasteful. They mastered the dam thing and now it's irrelevant. Such is life.
Some of Watch Dogs looked great, but some of it also really resembles current Assassisn's Creed games.
Now, when one looks at that Deep Down game, everything is absolutely stunning. I have never played a game which looks that real or stunning.
