You download the game, then play it whenever you want. Online or off. Just like PS3
Watch his walking dead survival instinct review.
I nearly pissed myself laughing the first time I watched it.
Yeah Angry Joe is a class act when it comes to gaming.
He loves Xbox and he was personally hurt by the DRM crap. He was not like the usual suspects here who would give their first born to MS to play Halo for an hour.
He says it straight and he says it with humor and he says it for all of us.
My initi gut feeling is the Xbox One will stall around 20 mil.
Once ppl see the difference is quality vs greed, the One will be a true disaster and consumers will resemble all these articles.
Because the developers may have to take their system offline?
;-)
In all seriousness, I wonder how Bethesda is going to excuse away their sure to be 'complete mess' of their next SONY installment. On the system which was designed w/ the input of devs, for devs, how will Bethesda explain away their shoddy SONY version this time?
An inFamous game for Vita, developed 100% by Sucker Punch!
That's what I am hoping for.
A Souls' game for Vita just isn't going to happen because it would be too awesome.
1st party studios 6 months behind?
What the hell have they been working on for the past 2 years? Their tan? Certainly not games.
What a disgusting company. Keep supporting them, sheep.
Trophies and achievements are fascist!
They are a means by which the developer controls how the gamer plays his/her game.
Perhaps I don't want to kill 100 monsters w/ weapon A. Perhaps I prefer weapon C and want to kill all 50k monsters with that. Why should player A who uses all weapons be rewarded? I cry foul on trophies.
Letting every gamer experience their own way and no one getting anything extra is more democratic. We all paid t...
Didn't you know? We live in the social network era, where everyone with a Facespace account thinks they're famous, well known, or worth knowing about. Some of these mentally ill actually upload photos of their meals. Because everyone is dying to know what someone else had for lunch.
The SKFU guy has too much time on his hands. If he can gain secret access to QA servers with secret tools, then that's great. Seems to me though, he is only interested in making h...
Dont know why so many are hating on the six axis. No it's not necessary, but it's actually very cool.
Didn't anyone play thru the Blazing Angels campaign with it? Navigating thru that ice cave w/ six axis was completely awesome!
Ill tell you who 'won', since that matters to you.
PS3 gamers won because they only pay 60 bucks to play any given game online.
360 gamers pay 60 for the game, then 60 again to play it online.
Clearly we see who loses. Double the price for exact same experience. Simple really. You're being ripped off and you're not only blind to it, but you embrace it.
Yes, but not because of the game itself.
I'll be excited because it will obviously be late 2013 & I will be playing PS4.
"PS4 is such a leap in terms of graphic capabilities that I don't think we will have to go that far.."
That sounds like audible chocolate to me.
On GoW, I love the games and they're beautiful, but I do personally give the nod to Naughty Dog.
-The Uncharted games are like interactive movies. They are the very best at immersing the player into the world and making them feel like they're controlling a movie. Hands down, the best...
Hahaha.
Considering the PS4 version will be 60 dollars and the Microsoft version will be 150 dollars, ummmm........no.
No one plays cod for the single player. No one.
Sony users get every COD game for at least half the price of Microsoft users.
Just another fact, but don't let those get in the way of your delusions here.
No you're not wrong. Microsoft has put out some exclusives on its platform. Almost all of them are available for PC as well, but for the sake of argument, they have some exclusives.
The thing is, we are all seeing a clear move, on Microsoft's part, to move away from core gaming, and toward novelty shovelware and gimmicky add ons. This is not debatable. 360 in its last 3 years has all but abandoned actual games in favor of dancing Han Solos and Justin Beibers games...
A near perfect console?
Bwahahahaha! That has got to be the most absurd thing I have ever read in my life.
Yeah, and Ghandi could have kicked the crap out of Chuck Lidell. Near perfect console! Lmao wow. Just W O W
Waltons suck.
Virgos suck
PCJ goooooood
Blista Compact gooooooood
Infernus gooooooood
Those games are just hysterical no matter what you do lol. Even using the Hi-Lo to drop stuff on ppl, rules!
This is the problem that games like COD contribute to.
I hope SONY never has another cod ever again actually.
When gamers get sucked into playing that one game, like a zombie, for 5 months or more, year after year, they lose out on all the other great titles that exist. Other titles that blow away call of duty in just about every way.
COD has become such a force that microsoft will rely on it. That's the problem. While SONY innovates...
Console gaming is better.
Console gamers don't have a deep internal need to suck through their braces while touting their specs as Jesus-like.
Console gamers get the best exclusives, best controllers and have great experiences.
PC gaming is fun too of course, but it's nowhere near the level of console gaming. Way too much to miss out on. I would have asked the question in reverse.
Your not biased. You're only stating what your needs are at this point, just like the writer of the article.
The thing is, your gaming tastes will indeed change when you become an adult. You will still probably enjoy shooters and racing games, but you will also learn to appreciate the deeper games more. That's the author's point. He wants the adult market to dictate development to suit his gaming needs.
This is all speculation anyway. I mysel...
Why do ppl equate buying used games or renting to piracy?
Are you insane or brainwashed?
Here's how it works. Devs get paid throughout the development process. The publishers get all the monies associated with the game sales. If the publisher has any sort of kickback royalties with the developer in their contract then so be it, but that's not the norm. Publishers are no different than record labels and they are the ones who hurt the developer/arti...
