I found both games to be a lot of fun. Both wonderful stories and an emotional response.
I did however, find Heavy Rain to be better for a few reasons. One of which is because of the innovation. Heavy Rain is a trail blazer. Secondly, Heavy Rain was a much more polished game. Seemingly more mature, sans the whole 'current fad' theme. It stood on its merits and needed not rely on AMC shows. Heavy Rain using the Move controller was one of my top 5 favorite gaming...
Hicken,
They were 2 sentences. Did you really need the guy to create a new paragraph for the second observation, solely for your reading pleasure?
WHy is it that PS3 continually outsells 360, yet VG charts never adjusts for this when they post lifetime numbers?
It id mathematically impossible for PS3 to continually outsell the 360 at a rate which surpasses 360 lifetime sales, and somehow stay static on their charts.
Yes I know it's VG charts and all, but am I the only one who sees this as simply childish behavior in an attemot to refuse to show PS3 has surpassed the 360?
Games today look much better, and run smoother, but therein lies the problem.
In an effort to show off all the glorious cutscenes, games have become less about 'beating', and more about 'finishing'. Like they're books or movies. Long gone are the days of beating a game for the difficulty and actually feeling rewarded. 30 years ago there were perhaps half of a games audience who didn't finish the game & that was normal. Today, every single playe...
You want to make the hardest class even harder, by having the sniper require 2 head shots?
Are you insane? The sniper class requires that they take a precise shot on a moving target from far away. Having them need 2 shots would render the class useless.
Your ideas are awful.
This game is kickass!
This article is wrong.
Anyone who has striven for "Ninja Extraordinaire" rating during the past decade, will absolutely hands down, enjoy this game.
I suppose if you really feel the need to talk to people while you're playing whatever game, but Im in my 30s. I honestly don;t see the fascination with this feature unless you're a 14 year old girl who constantly needs to be speaking to someone because they're too insecure to just spend time alone or focus on what theyre doing.
'
I don;t need to gossip when I game. That's for some people I guess, but not for an adult who just wants to enjoy the game.
Yeah that part was pretty weak.
AC has gotten away from what made the game so fun. They place entire too much emphasis on making the full sync requirements too much a PITA.
Dont shove anyone or get hit? Really? Yeah we can do it, but by the 10th try when we've done it, the story and flow has been so disrupted that it's borderline absurd.
Give the gamer back the freedom to do whatever he wants and give us a flat score for doing so. ...
Let's be clear here.
This game is going to destroy the best franchise to come along in 20 years. The difficulty and brain candy is what makes the games fun. The player must critically think, not read tutorials for every single action like today's games. Souls games give players a true sense of accomplishment.
They're going to gimp this game to a level which will render it unrecognizable Im afraid.
Plz for the love of all th...
Agreed 100%.
The art style was fantastic. Coupled with the awesome character evolution and storyline, this game was a lot of fun to not only play, but experience.
Face it, guys.
Love Live all ya want. The fact is that if you're playing Live Gold account, you're paying to use your internet twice and you're a sucker.
These reviews are seriously off.
For anyone who wants an honest opinion on this game,
It's a great game. It doesn't stutter or have frame rate issues like they're saying. It's a ton of fun and is even better than the older console versions.
I have no idea where these scores come from, but they certainly do not come from those who invest time in the game. The game is a great Creed experience and anyone who loves the series will love ...
I don't know what all of you guys are talking about, or what this article is talking about, but the game is good.
It's fun and gun all the way!
Is it amazing? No, it's a COD game.
Is it fun? Yes it's a COD game
To give this game a 1 and the ps3 game a 9 is proof of the ludicrous scoring. I mean, c'mon.
I love PS Vita very much so, but would it kill a developer to make an NHL game?
We have a Madden and an MLB game, and I realize there's currently a lockout, but hockey games are perfect for handheld gaming! Let's face it; of all the major sports, hockey by far translates the best into videogame fun.
Bring me an NHL game so I can get my Lundqvist on, online!
Haha. The rats and mimics in Dark Souls were the best.
Those gigantic rats look like they have mange and they make you sick with poison and theyre just effin grotesque!
The chest mimics in that game are cool too. Really long sprouting arms and legs and theyll whoop your butt if you're not careful.
This list should have included the ever popular doppleganger.
People hate Vita because its expensive, and yet they pay 600 for an iPad?
Makes no sense.
Vita is superior to all else in its class. End of story
If you've played on Vita you would know exactly why. It is the most prolific device to alter gaming since the arrival of the Gameboy.
Vita takes mobile gaming to the level we have all been waiting for. Console experience on handheld. It is a must see experience. The fluidness and graphix on Ninja GS+, alone is enough to show how superior it is. Throw in Golden Abyss and this game and you have seen the beast.
If the rest of the world hates it, then ...
You are incorrect, sir.
I thought the same thing initially, and there are games in which you are correct, but Hustle Kings was paid for twice. See for yourself. I speak from experience, not from assumption.
Maybe it's been altered?
I first got Hustle Kings on console a long time ago. Maybe 2 years now or something. I got it for Vita for 10 bucks in March. I indeed purchased both.
I actually feel bad for the people who love this series and who will not be enjoying this adventure. It's like having a Star Wars film available only on Beta Max and millions will not see it. It sucks hard.
I think this game will sell OK. I think it's safe to assume that at launch, at least 1 million people will buy it and play it. Going into next year hopefully it has sold about 3 million before March. I think it may, considering there will be a wave of new Vita...
Never understood the importance of BC myself.
I buy new consoles to play new games. When one buys a new car or a new television, do they feel the need to relive days of old by using the old? No. So why the need to play old games on your new system?
I think BC is exactly like x Game Chat. It is something which has become infinitely more important in the minds of some, simply because of its availability or lack thereof.
BC is something wh...
