Nope. Its never reliable. Matter of fact this shows that PS4 is dominating more than we thought. If VG Charts shows that its precious Xbox is behind, then it is because it had no choice. These numbers are cooked and the lead is most likely much larger.
Its not fanboys. Its consensus. By the end of year 2, the install base for PS4 will exceed the Xbox One by at least 2:1.
All signs point that way now, and by the end of the generation that gap may be upward of 3:1. Just look at the current demand. When one system cannot keep up with the demand, it dominates. That's just the way it has always been.

Full backward compatibility really wasn't practical for PS4. The architecture is just too different. With PS3 being Cell based and PS4 being X86 based, the PS4 would have been a lot more expensive.
While you and others may spend the extra cash for it, most would not want to. Especially considering that Gaikai launches next year. Gaikai is the plan for BC.

I truly think the DS4 is the most comfortable, best overall controller I have ever used.
The new analog layout is dead on perfect, along with the concave tops & bubble. The trigger buttons are perfect as well now too. I prefer the wider set trigger rather than the slim actual trigger like the Xbox controller.

I wasn't impressed at all with the reveal. Bland textures and last Gen graphics to me.
All the Dark Souls weapons and armor would have added up well over 300 bucks. That game has so much.
