When your focus is games and TV, then no, you're not offering games. You're offering games and TV. You're offering a beefed up OS to run said TV features and you take away from the gaming.
Both offer games, but lets be clear. Only one offers a 100% focus on games while the other dabbles in games and shoves a Kamera in the box so we can dance while yelling at the tv, watching ESPN.
Of course it matters. When you make a purchase of 4 to 5 hundred dollars and another grand on your 1080p TV, you want to use that 1080p aspect.
Right now, one of the consoles is 500 bucks for resolutions that are 8 years old. Come on.
I can understand enjoying the games and all, but that's not the sole issue. We are paying these corporations decent cabbage for a machine which lags behind the contemporary standards. How is that ok?

The only thing that needs to "Ryse", is the dam frame rate. It went from 30 to 16 to 20 to 12!
VG Chartz managed to have 360 ahead by 2 million units for over 2 1/2 years.
I wouldn't be surprised if VG Chartz has Xbox One ahead of PS4 for a little while.

Two reasons.
UC has been announced, and the fact that TLoU is most likely going to use the same engine as the new UC game.
I don't at all see it as a one title game.
They can always put us back in the same universe and play as different characters in a different part of the world as they deal with the plague.
They can put the setting somewhere in the UK and we play as new ppl surviving against the clickers and striving to complete some sort of objective or ultimate goal which is helpful towards humanity's future.
It was excellent because it was free in the box.
