Both machines should be capable of running the game at those settings. Its a matter of proper development time.

Best fix is to cover top of ds4 analog with heat shrink. Apply lighter to it and you're good.
Use different colors if you're feeling crazy. Just cut a piece to fit over the top and mold it to the nub while you shrink it.
