You're right it's filmed in Ireland, USA.
Not really, the Telltale game used the license and there are shitty browser/mobile games using the license. That's a non-issue.
@garos82
Your criticism would've been valid if you had just said it's a pointless article, or if the article actually implied SJW agenda. Using this article to criticize the general journalism atmosphere doesn't really work when the article is not showing any evidence of it. This is the first I'm hearing of this critique so it's possible other journalists are using it to pursue SJW politics, but at first glance it makes it look like you're having a k...
I haven't played the game but I read the article. It's a pointless article but nothing about it indicates "religious cultist SJWs are offended", author is just saying it's cringey and cheesy writing. It's even saying the same line worked fine in Sons of Anarchy.
Please explain wtf you're actually talking about, don't ignore this comment. Same with everyone agreeing to it.
Tbf the title doesn't spoil anything, it's just talking about A wedding scene, and the article says warns of spoilers first thing. You would have to click it and not read the first like to get spoiled, I don't believe this is an issue.
This looks like a GOT themed console.
I partially agree with you, but I don't think it has anything to do with aesthetics. Overwatch and Fortnite are the biggest most recent multiplayer franchises and they're not grounded in reality by any means.
The reason COD overtook Halo was because of the progression system that provided easy rewards and toned down skill for perks. In games like Halo the focus is a lot on skill, everyone starts with the same weapons, in order to get better you had to increase your ...
Also Halo is designed to be seamless between multiplayer and single player, you can't apply this logic to multiplayer games. The feeling of a headshot is still as satisfying to me now in Halo then it was 10 years ago, it works.
I think the dev is just using it as an example to make a good point for his own game, but people are just stupid in the comments here.
Lol i said MP right after but let's talk. You're confusing cool gameplay features with gameplay mechanics that can actually be mastered. Why is there no Vanquish 2? Why did it not have multiplayer? Because it doesn't have gameplay mechanics that can be mastered to the point of competitiveness. You can judge a game's gameplay mechanics from its multiplayer, and Vanquish doesn't even have any, even though it's a really fun game
Gears on the other hand...
This game looks amazing!
@yoshatabi
Battlefield is a great game, but it doesn't have the customization opens Halo has. it does have 64 players which is a big plus but I don't think feature wise it's a complete package like Halo. You could argue subjectively it has better multiplayer gameplay if you prefer it, but objectively speaking it doesn't hit half the features I mentioned. I also don't recall Battlefield having a deep continuous story and extended universe with a dozen boo...
@JesusBuiltmyHotrod
Not Doom, and not any that do both multiplayer and single player better. Halo is a complete package. Name me a game that has a story with so much depth, 4 player co-op campaign, full vehicle+on foot sandbox gameplay in both SP and MP, gameplay competitive enough to be part of professional gaming and versatile enough that anyone can play casually, a full map editor, customization options that literally lets you make a battle royale game mode on your own, ...
Multiplayer....
If you just value a deep story and single player then maybe not. If you value gameplay then absolutely. It's a really difficult and frustrating game for people who aren't good at, but also the most rewarding once you learn it. If you get good at the gameplay then the campaign will be amazing, and if you can manage to get past the beginner's hump the multiplayer is even more amazing. There's something so satisfying about turning a corner shotgunning a player into pieces, or sni...
Have you really considered what you're comparing though? The campaign can be reinvented sure, and it should be. But the other GOW isn't known for it's multiplayer, Gears of war multiplayer is big and unique. It's the only TPS game that has competitive multiplayer that solely relies on gameplay and skill, no perks, no streaks, no gameplay changing microtransactions. When it comes to multiplayer you can't just "reinvent" the same way you can for single player, you ...

Love it when people don't know what they're talking about. There's multiplayer game like Gears of war.
Lol Vanquish has a great campaign, that borrowed a lot from Gears, but it doesn't have MP so your comment doesn't even apply.
Still the king of TPS in gameplay mechanics, have yet to play a TPS MP game that comes near Gears in competitive visceral gameplay.
Holy shit Wolfenstein 2, that's the game I've been waiting for! I barely even started Monster hunter and already I'm gonna be backlogged!
Those are some nice lookin bananas
