Well firstly there's no 'rather'. Gears won't be made by Epic so they can come out at the same time for all we know.
And Gears won't be coming for another 2-3 years, so you don't need to worry about that. I can't wait when they show it, i really hope it pulls off what the first gears pulled off.
UT is practically dead now, which is unfortunate, I would really like to see a new UT game too. But I doubt Epic is gonna work on it anyt...
It's bungie, seeing will be much different than playing i can guarantee you. Those of us that know that are excited beyond belief.
I think all you people asking for third person view don't understand just how much difference FPS vs TPS makes in the gameplay style. It would be radically different, and mostly from subtle changes.
Simple things like jumping, or platforming, or even aiming would be affected by third person animations. If you're a halo player you would know how much those things matter. It's hard for me to explain, i guess you'd just have to play to understand.
that would be amazing
Well this guy is right, whether you think it's trolling or not. How can we be sure they'll make something we want if we've been asking for years and all they've made are kinect games?
I want something big at E3 and as much as i'm hoping Rare to shock us, I'm not expecting much. Of course when it happens, nobody should have the right to talk smack.
Yea but that's the article writer's fault though, bungie's not the one that said screenshots.
They gotta stop with the misleading headlines.
Bungie killed halo? Wtf are you talking about, just because you don't play it doesn't mean it's dead. I feel lucky to be able to play both halo and destiny in the same era
lol exactly, 2 randoms fighting over nothing basically.
Reading through this uselessness out of curiosity is fine, but caring about this shit, and fighting on other forums over a fight over a little review? People are so lame.
well he already did his work on destiny so his music will still be there regardless.
No i wasn't talking about your name, I was talking about game name "Screamride".
What i meant to say was that a name like that pretty guarantees it's not a hardcore tiple A title, and not because i'm not being hopeful but because that's how the industry is.
Casual games usually follow the same pattern of casual titles, throw together based on what type of game it is.
Joyride - casual game about bunch of little carts ...
Screamride really?
The name says a lott, specially considering the way games are named these days.
Although that would be amazingg, i doubt that'll happen for a few reasons.
- I'm sure he wants to do something new after almost 10 years of halo
- Halo 5 is probably already well under development, unless it comes end of next year
- I think there would be a conflict with Neil Davidge. He probably considers the new halo trilogy as his own now, and Marty coming into the picture would for sure take attention away from him.
Maybe i'm w...
This is brilliant, I get chills everytime i hear halo music.
One other thing they really need to improve from halo 4 is the emotional aspect of it. It couldn't capture the soul of past games as well. The writing needs to improve, Diadact needs to be less generic 'worship me' d-bag, and no more inception music please. Halo is subtle and that's the best part about it.
No not that simple. Some people maybe find the gameplay refreshing and the world intriguing more than other games on the market. Even if they play different games, it doesn't mean they don't want Titanfall to have a campaign, and unless there's a perfect substitute different game is just a different game.
It's definitely possible, the single payer doesn't have to play like multiplayer. They could make the levels more sandbox style like halo, they already have bots so it can't be that hard to incorporate that style of play into a campaign.
They could find some way to string together maps that feel like multipayer maps on their own. Then have segments which don't necessarily require you jumping around constantly at 30 mph. Imagine fighting those giant Goliath mon...
@avengers1978
?? I said I want XB1 because of halo, and i still get my halo. I didn't say "all i want is my halo", which may also be true, but it doesn't imply i don't like PS exclusives or that i wasn't considering PS4. That's the dumbest assumption ever.
I don't know where you're deriving this crap from but yes sure price point matters, only in the sense that its cheaper and more money is being saved. The real pusher is...
Clearly that doesn't mean anything. Trouble shifting doesn't affect my experience in any way. All I know is that I want XB1 because of halo and was considering Ps4 because of the price, now it's cheaper and better for me to get XB1 and i still get my halo.
In the end prices drops are always good for us consumers.
Farcry 2 i agree with, specially because they reset every time and you couldn't travel properly without being constantly interrupted by them.
Farcry 3 though, did it right. I loved the different approaches you could take, it felt great killing everyone with stealth without ringing the alarm, or shooting a tiger cage with a sniper and watching it clear everyone out. Farcry 3 was just a brilliant game, i was so mad that just because it was released in December they didn'...
Lol funny cuz u got it wrong, they weren't dead....
Well if it doesn't mean anything to you then move on. You asked that you're not seeing what's supposed to be so great, and I explained what Bungie and halo fans see. I'm not gonna bother going into detail about what's good about bungie or these types of games, because it'll take an essay.
I'm sure i could say the same about many games you probably like, but I know better.
For example, Minecraft (not saying it's a game you like)...
