My god yess, Far cry 3 was one of the most amazing games i played last gen. Himalayas is a perfect setting, something new and I can only imagine how great it'll look in next-gen.
It would be amazing if they're using the Division's snowdrop engine for this.
blu-ray what?
It's not necessarily because of Sony. Most people who wanted and XB1 just didn't want half of this stuff, so this makes their decision easier. Why would you not want to satisfy your customer.
Yea there has been nothing to make the hardcore game want kinect. And it's not like kinect is going anywhere, if a killer-app for kinect comes out, it will sell itself.
It's much better than paying $100 extra and waiting like an idiot in hopes of something amazing coming out.
Also people are forgetting that there's a possibility of other peripherals coming. If a VR device comes out, I would hate to pay $500 because of kinect and then pay additiona...
That's easy to say because you were just hoping there would be some crazy innovation for the kinect. What if it never came? How much can you possibly do with that camera? MS has been trying for years and so far nothing brilliant has come out of kinect. If they kept it there and 3 years later it didn't achieve anything, it would be much harder for them to make up for the loss in sales for those 3 years.
"All-in-one voice and gesture" is a gimmick that most p...
But the other has better games? See anyone can do that.
Lol I love how people were bitching when DRM and disc policies were introduced, then they reversed those policies and people started bitching about the price................ then they offered the titanfall bundle for $450, people were still bitching............ now they removed kinect, people are still bitching.......I'm so thankful to all those people for making these changes happen, but for shit's sake be grate...
no i think the rumours are for battlefield, those rumours have been there since before battlefield 4.
Seriously need some legit dinosaur games. I'd love to take down a T-rex in 4 player co-op.
I wonder why they don't do a mix of platforming and FPS. Not like portal, which is a puzzle solver, maybe also a platformer, but definitely not a shooter.
I wanna do solid platforming in first person, while shooting enemies and facing giant bosses. I guess parkour games like dying light, mirror's edge, or titanfall would count, but that's not what I'm talking about.
you're just crossing the line with that one
It looks amazing but I think it would've been better as a fantasy game just for gameplay's sake. Although I haven't played the game, I just can't imagine much variety in fighting just humans. Having a fantasy setting really allows for more diversity in gameplay, you can fight monsters, giants, bosses, all kinds of crazy stuff.
What legion said^
I probably wouldn't be open world like GTA or crackdown where you have one huge world and your missions are restricted within that world.
It could be something like ODST which was open world in a sense, but that was restricted to new mombasa, im more than sure halo 5 would cover many worlds.
Mass effect is the closest thing that comes to mind. It has linear smaller missions but the worlds are connected via a hub, and sid...
Yea you're right, i think people subconsciously are thinking of infamous because of the jean jacket, grinding, and that crazy light gun, it's just visual cues and the fact that infamous justt came out.
I don't understand why they can't just call it sunset overdrive. I think all these comparisons will go away once the game actually comes out, I'm sure infamous was compared to other game before the first one came out.
I think the author should've titled it "should destiny be playable offline". That's what it seems like he meant anyway. The game clearly has a campaign that can be played solo, but you have to be online to play it, which means you can't play single player offline.
Also the author assumes that due to the game being shareworld, co-op centric, it won't have a story mode like halo, which I don't think is the case. It's a unique game, shareworld b...
No he meant he wouldn't call it a strategy game "franchise". Halo is a franchise yes, halo wars is a strategy game yes, but it's arguable if halo wars is considered "within an established and well-loved strategy game franchise".
I think the speilberg show will be like an actual TV series set in the Halo universe. The Ridley Scott one is just a digital featurette, which could mean just a short 30 minute film to promote halo 5, or it could be a mini series like forward unto dawn.
You're saying "survival imperative" as if people are against the act of having sex. That's a total misunderstanding, no culture has ever condoned actually having sex or they would never have kids. It's not necessarily part of our nature to watch sex and commercialize it for financial gain. Watching sex is not the same as having sex, the latter of which is a biological function. For educational purposes it's a different story.
Shame was part of our e...
Why are you telling us this
What how? It'll be 2 years from Far cry 3 by the time it releases.
