Well that's great news! I wasn't gonna buy this but was interested in trying it. Now I can play it for free!

Yea it's like this is the first time this has happened, the game being defended even more than it's being attacked. But whatever, whoever wants to play it should play it. Everyone else put it rest already.

This is not special, it's been happening since the 18th century, I don't know why it's such a big deal. It's happened to many games before, I can give an example of Ryse because I played it and it's the best comparison.

Ryse was short, repetitive, and didn't do anything innovative. But it had an awesome story, amazing graphics, the gameplay was really fun, and the QTE's were finishing moves that you didn't have to go through to move on. It was ...

God i hope that's true

Does this mean it'll be only free to play until april 10th and then get locked? or does it mean that anyone who downloads it before 10th will get to keep it like games with gold?

I totally agree with you! It's the only racing game I was sold on just from the demo. From zero expectations to amazing!

Yea like the Order right.

Trolling aside, it's a different strategy. So far all third party exclusives have paid off. Sunset overdrive was a great game, titanfall was awesome, and they're slowly building their first party studios.

Sony has been building its internal studios since the PS1, that's their strategy and it works for them. MS lost bioware and bungie last gen so they had to make up for that. They did a horrible job with exclusive deals la...

Stop arguing about review scores and read the damn reviews. Most people just click on the article, complain about the review score and how it's broken and this and that, and then leave.

Lol because you read a few articles on it you know everything. The game works great for me, I've barely had any issues with after the first few weeks. And it's the same for many others.

The ones who it doesn't work for are just more vocal. You can cry all you like, it's still the best remaster collection ever made.

Jet X2O! Used to plat that game with my littler cousin, so much fun!

Unity was a broken game but way bigger than the Order, it's 3-4 times longer, open world, also has an amazing graphics engine, has 4 player co-op, and great gameplay.

You can't just ignore that when comparing it to the Order. It balances out both ways, Unity was a great game which was broken hence the bad reviews, Order is a technically great game but it's short and just not good. And they both received bad reviews so it's fair. A broken game can at least be f...

Exactly and people still complain about reviews that they don't agree with.

I think we over-exaggerate how seriously people take review scores. Every article has everyone giving their opinion on how we should consider review scores. Some people say they're BS, some people say they're valid, in the end people who want to buy the game buy it. And we know this from the sales figures of call of duty and assassin's creed games.

The people who actually use the reviews to make purchases usually read the actual reviews. The content of the review,...

Maybe it's just a bad game, why can't you consider that? Wolfenstein TND is a single player only game, and that has a 7.8 on IGN. That's a good rating for a single player game, so your argument and comparison to evolve doesn't make sense.

I won't claim that Evolve deserves a 9 because I haven't played enough of it, but whether it does or not shouldn't have an affect on The Order's rating.

Innovation doesn't have to be adding new controls. I'm fact all the halo 4 innovations were not liked by fans. The way they're balancing everything in multiplayer is amazing. And it was a freakin multiplayer ARENA beta. Do you know how small of a component that is of a halo game? There's the whole other side of multiplayer, big team battles, they could innovate with game modes, maybe let us make set pieces in forge.

Then there's the whole campaign we'...

No that's not how it works.

First of all, walking dead was not a shooter, it advertised itself exactly how it was. A story-based game. It did something innovative, that was not really done before. Your choices in the story changed how the game played out.

Secondly, it was an indie game! priced at freaking $4.99 an episode. Under $30 for the whole game which altogether probably lasted longer than the Order. So your argument falls flat on it's face. ...

Are you kidding? Unity was torn apart last year for being broken. It sits at a 70 average, fairly close to The Order.

One is a huge open world game with a wide gameplay variety, and multiplayer, and great graphics, but it's broken. One is not broken at all, technically amazing, but has no gameplay variety, is short, linear, and repetitive.

I think it's about fair treatment for both.
