No way, other than graphics this game is doing nothing revolutionary. It might be an awesome game but revolutionary like gears was.
What are you talking about? Have you ever played L4D? It has a full campaign with 4 player co-op, and then a multiplayer component on top of that. This game has no campaign...
I really don't see what you mean by "COD features", it's a misconception a lot of people have.
Have you ever gone back to play COD4? It plays nothing like COD:AW, you really have to reverse the situation here and look at how much COD has become like halo.
COD never had these futuristic weapons, vertical gameplay was nothing like it is now, no jetpacks or movement boosters. Hip fire has become a lot more relevant now, like halo.
You r...
I wouldn't worry too much about that.
Firstly, it's great that it's competitive. It satisfies the fanbase that deserves to be satisfied. It's the best thing they could have done to establish the longevity of the franchise. They already tried to appeal to the casuals with halo 4, it didn't really succeed then so there was no reason for them to continue doing that. The overwhelming demand and support from the fans who want traditional halo means they're ...
Lol that's why they're still making it right.
"If you were turned off by how “dudebro-y” things seemed with the chest bumps and high fives when you won a match, 343 will be toning that down as well."
"You’ll also be able to turn off the “Spartan chatter” from your teammates’ AI dialogue if it gets on your nerves."
YESSSS 343 you listennnnn:')
Ugh I'd rather buy COD4 again with that money.
Held back in what sense? You don't think 360 can handle shooting games? It's an action adventure game, most of the difference will only be in graphics. Unless they were planning to show a thousand enemies on screen at once and held it back because of the 360, there's no reason to say it will be held back.
And I'm sure if they were planning to include something like that, a 360 port wouldn't have been considered.
So far I haven't really...
But it's not a first party studio, i don't think it works like that. MS is not going to put extra money on the staff of a third party studio. CD manages their own staff and resources, all MS is doing is paying them for a timed exclusivity deal as far as I know. Paying them extra would not mean they'll hire more people and make the game even better, and even if they did there's no guarantee that it will have an impact on sales, they will never blow off money like that.

Most fun racing game I've every played!
I think it means you can download the beta before it actually goes live. So they day servers go live you don't have to wait to download it first. It's actually a great option considering how large game files are now.
I know this from the Halo 5 beta, I had it downloaded a couple of days earlier, then on the release date I just got home and started playing right away.
Ah i see, that does explain it actually. But it's a bothersome fact. I would have loved to see what the engine could do with dense landscapes and mountains. It's one of those things that holds the game back as a simulation. But I guess for a true simulation fanatic, it's acceptable.
In my opinion, having played both.Gears is just in another league when it comes to shooting.
As an ACTION game tho Uncharted is epic, with great platforming and an amazing story. But not when it comes to shooting.
Uncharted was a great experience for me, but only the one time I finished it. I think about gears shooting, co-op, multiplayer, horde mode and how much time I spent playing it, and its just one of the best experiences of last gen for me. Specially ...

Graphics themselves are amazing but I find the locations they used in this game to be very bland. Everything is plain, where are the mountains? The terrain? The forests? That's one of the reasons Driveclub really sticks out so much, because the scenery is so emphasized.
showing a bit of gameplay doesn't spoil the game...specially when the footage can only help their case considering how much shit the game's getting. I reallyy don't see how anything would be spoiled if they should some footage of the werewolves being shot, i mean it's not like we don't know they're in there.
This whole don't wanna spoil thing sounds like unnecessary justification to me. But hey if they game turns out good then it doesn't matter...
Oh you got things groin huh;)
Relax
I think resistance 3 had the best campaign. They should keep the controls and campaign like resistance 3 with more open sandbox environments like resistance 1, and definitely multiplayer of resistance 2! Can't believe they went from 64 players to 16..
@Jaqen_Hghar
I see what you're saying, I misunderstood. Its definitely like gears of war in gameplay and the gritty setting. I was actually referring to what Gears did for 360, doesn't look like the order will be doing for PS4 (again doesn't mean the game won't be great). Specially considering a major innovation for gears was from the multiplayer gameplay.
As for the rest of the comments^ Lol I was waiting for these. You can't just take a feature a...
