I think halo 3 had the best campaign. We found like 5 freakin scarabs throughout the campaign! Can't believe we haven't fought a scarab since, halo 5 better go a step further with the war sphix!

Maybe you puzzle the so many people who love it. It literally revolutionized third person shooters, and the gameplay is visceral and butter smooth satisfying. The plot wasn't the greatest but the setting, art style, and the premise was unique and amazing.
It remains the best Third person shooting game (and I mean strictly gameplay), specially the multiplayer there is no TPS that comes close.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you didn't play more than 3 missions you have no credibility. It's one of the least linear TPS game considering you can play 4 play co-op, which I'm guessing you didn't bother with. The multiplayer is one of the greatest of last-gen. On top of that they got Horde and beast mode. It's just a brilliant game in every regard except story-telling, which is the only thing I'll sort of agree on.

Yea that's actually a new ability, if you zoom in while jumping your boosters hold you up for a few seconds so you have a vantage point, but you're also exposed so you have to be careful.
Yea that's understandable, people are very skilled at this game, which is why it's such an amazing game. There's no tricks or cheap free-kill powers, you win if you have the skill. A skilled player with a pistol can take down a non-skilled player even if he has a rocket.
But don't worry, arena modes are more for the competitive players, I'm sure most of the beta was hardcore players.

Hey! Don't ever bring that thought in your head again! BTB is the soul of halo, they would never even think of doing away with it. This is an arena beta, that's why it specifically says at the beginning "arena multiplayer beta". They just want to test the basic controls, and the competitive aspect of it. BTB doesn't really require a beta because they can apply these same controls and abilities, just on a bigger scale.
It's great that they revealed this now instead of waiting for E3. This means E3 will be about games!!
I'm having no issues with MCC, it works great for me, it sucks for people that are still having problems though.
I don't think you need to worry about BTB, a big part of halo's soul is BTB, they will not wanna screw it up. But I would love a beta on that too.
