This is a pointless headline. Halo 6 is supposed to come fall 2019 at the latest. No one in their right mind thinks they will release a brand new console by then. By brand new I mean the NEXT xbox, not an upgraded console.

One of the best things about Halo, that people don't understand, is how versatile it is. It has all the tools to have a Battle Royale mode already, in fact in custom games you can already find Battle royale modes that people have made. The only thing developers would need to add would be a higher player count, the community could create the rest itself.
Wtf are you forgetting Halo 3 and Reach? Not sure what the definition of top tier is to you. Even halo 5 is top tier MP-wise, you won't find a more diverse MP experience on any console.

Gears of war has always had amazingly visceral and smooth gameplay, and Gears 4 is no different. I don't think gameplay is the issue at all. It requires tweaks but it doesn't need an overhaul, it's the best TPS MP game out there.

Maybe try harder to understand. They gameplay is great and it's not the base game that's bad, it's the policies and how they rip people off with the same rehashed content. Destiny 2 literally looks like Destiny 1 with mostly recycled assets.
