Getting good ratings, props for making this $40!
So glad that it's focused on split-screen.
One thing to clarify for people that may not know, the game can still be played online. It still shows the split-screen but the character can be controlled by another player online.
Wtf are you talking about. The games were amazing.
Yes they are completely different from original Tomb Raider games but that doesn't make them bad in any sense.
Well to be fair it's based on the new Tomb Raider design. Now if you want to call out the new design that's a different argument.
That Doom movie had one of the coolest scenes where the whole scene is in first person.
Ah ok thanks
Umm those are 11 year old consoles, even if it's capable this is no example.
No I understand that issue and take it seriously. I'm only calling out people who call it a desperate move as if it's a bad thing that someone who owns an Xbox is getting value from this service.
I feel that I have very little effect on the balance of gaming. If it makes you feel better I'm only going to invest in Gamepass periodically if I feel that it allows me to play games I wouldn't otherwise play. I also don't mind GAAS but I'm completely agai...
Well good to know they fixed the issues and credit to whomever pitched for this to happen in the internal team. As much as I wanted to believe our verbal backlash made the difference, i'm sure the reality is that they just didn't meet their financial target and decided to ditch the system. Still I have hope that this sets a negative impression for lootboxes in general to all developers.
Anyone know if this is limited to the US or an the claim be filed in Canada.
"Most of their games have been commercial failures"
Like?
Actually MS is releasing all first party published games on gamepass, that's the reason it's on gamepass. Congrats on looking like a moron.
If it's another "retro" unit that runs purely on nostalgia and re-releases overpriced ancient games then count me out.
This is probably true. And I personally prefer it to be close to 20 hours. I know I probably won't finish the game if it was 50 hours.
Honestly I'm loving the close quarter visceral combat.
Goddamn I'm hyped!
But "mainstream audience" is just a category, it's true but it's not the only category. You can just as easily say PUBG won the hardcore audience, or that it won in sales. Remember it's a $30 game that's sold over 26 million on PC and over 5 million on xbox, and still stays toe to toe with Fortnite on Twitch.
I've only had the chance to try these games and haven't invested much time in either, so I'm not really biased. I'm just say...
This actually looks super cool!!
Looks like it's set in South America, I'm pretty sure that's a rainforest and a Mayan pyramid at the end! YESSS I'm so happy about that, I love lush green rainforests! And hopefully the diverse wildlife will be a big factor as well.
You're right for US it's $30, but here in Canada it's $40.
