Don't think they are the same thing. His comment was regarding the ratio of quality and quantity and devs either extending the gameplay with unnecessary grinding/adding redundant missions, or making games that are short but charge full price.
Wow that looks sick
But the campaigns have always been epic. It's like the Mad Max of video games.
Please gives us more Halo news pleaseeeeee
@Sampsonon
The problem is you're using the reaction of some author who wrote this article to determine the intention of CDPR's E3 showing and judging their work.
"if it was so amazing why not show some gameplay to us?"
Like here for example. CDPR didn't announce that they won E3 or "stole the show". They chose to show the game how they wanted, why would they pay anyone to say this if the game is already i...
Why does it matter when it was announced lol, good games take time to make. Also it's an open world RPG, which takes more time and resources.
Deciding to reveal your game publicly is a very careful decision. You don't have to agree that it "stole the show" but it has nothing to with embarrassment.
@Oschino1907
It's an idiotic comment. CDPR showed a trailer and chose to showcase the game behind closed door because they didn't feel it's ready for the public yet. Wtf does that have to do with being embarrassed??
The author says it stole the show. It's just an opinion based on what he/she saw. It has nothing to do with CDPR trying to hide their game due to embarrassment.
Last of us 2 looks amazing, but clearly Samps...
Wtf are you talking about?????
Game is way too far from release. Naughty Dog didn't show gameplay last year even though LoU2 was already announced, were they embarrassed? I guess you can't prove me wrong.
LOL I think I just embarrassed you.
I think there's a lot of misunderstanding here. Instead of correcting the article and everyone else I'll just say what I feel happened:
Current year
- Sony ahead in 2018 with the stellar God of war, well received Detroit, and upcoming Spiderman.
- MS has not won 2018 with Sea of thieves not being reviewed well, State of Decay (not AAA) also not reviewed well, Crackdown delayed again, and only being kind of redeemed by Forza Horizon 4 which will be ...
Love that they hinted at more open explorable environments.
I'm sure this was planned way before launch. Instead of including in the launch game they must have decided to throw it in DLC as padding, and give us the same barebones multiplayer at launch.
And what do you know, DLC expansion will probably cost $40 and practically force you buy it if you want to keep enjoying the game. I won't forget the day Taken King was released, every other thing was locked and Raid requirements increased so I couldn't even attempt it.
lol actually that's not how it should work. Only reason I called this out is because they have one of the worst DLC policies I've seen. Introducing DLC shouldn't lock you out of base game modes, and game modes shouldn't be tied to paid DLC.
This feels like padding for the DLC to ensure people are forced to pay for it to really enjoy the game. Most games add game modes for free, Halo 5 got new free game modes, playlists, weapon sets, and maps for years after...
lol this has been in Halo 5 for years.
Also, let's not forget you have to pay for this mode.
"We also learn that the skiff we saw in the trailer will be used freely in the game to get around from one place to another."
:O I like the sound of that! Always wanted larger explorable areas in Gears!
ummmm
Lmao I love how every new Serious Sam game has this sentence but with increasing numbers, I love serious sam!
Honestly I try to stay neutral because I own both console, but it's actually laughable how many people think this game look amazing, while hating Quantum Break in the same sentence.
This looks so much like QB it could pass as a sequel. If it was on Xbox/Windows again it would be ripped to shreds for looking like a recycled QB.
For the record I think this game looks great, and I also thought Quantum Break looked great.
But it's on xbox.............
Looks a LOT like Quantum Break actually. You can tell they used the same gameplay mechanics and added new twists to it, which is good because Quantum Break had awesome gameplay.
....lol you act like he's readily available and would give a straightforward answer
