...and skinned.
The #1 reason why I bought an Xbox360 over the PS3 is because the Xbox360 was out first. I got mine at the Zero Hour event in the Mojave Desert and given the amount of excitement, it was kind of a knee-jerk thing to do then. IIRC, I got it bundled with Kameo, PGR3, and PDZ. Didn't really get into my box until maybe Halo 3 and GoW.
Granted I eventually bought a PS3 for LBP, MGS, and KZ, but it could've easily have been the other way around if the PS3 came out first.
Some of you guys are just nuts.
But Senshi's argument is about ease of pirating X360 games versus PC games. He said it was easier to pirate Xbox games.
It would not be easy for current console owners to have their boxes modded. Yeah, they can buy a modded box, but that would imply that I (an Xbox owner) would have to buy a second box to pirate OR pirate my current box.
So buying a pre-modded box is only easy (and cost effective) for those whom don't already own an Xbox360, but plan...
"PC is download, Mount, CRACK and Play.
X360 is Download, Burn, Play. "
Xbox360 doesn't readily just play backups, you need to chip or flash the firmware. So it involves 1. Mod, 2. Download 3. Burn (or transfer to harddrive) and 4. Play.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though, there could have been some revolutionary new method that I do not know about which involves pre-booting the game or something (if anyone is familiar wit...
The article quotes a Microsoft spokesperson claiming all of the above will sell (/have sold) better on the Xbox360, but the article only singles out FFXIII sales. How did the rest of Microsoft's prediction go? Namely RE5, which the MS quote addresses.
You mean you didn't like El Senor? But he's such a charming donkey... :D
I'm primarily a PC gamer, but I'd like to see Senshi's argument for how it's "easier" to pirate for X360.
From what I understand, Xact is correct, pirating a PC game is as simple as downloading a BitTorrent client, a torrent tracker, "virtual" drive software (Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%), and you're ready to rock. Ass firmly planted on my chair the entire time.
Pirating an Xbox360 game, or any console game, would involve...
Texture-wise, not identical. Here's a side-by-side.
Look at the detailed rocky cliffs and compare the dirt/horse prints.

Or with my commentary about how none of this will matter in life. Someone tell me how arguing about anything on an internet forum about console A vs. console B will have any significance in your life. Hell, I'm just wasting time..
Well, skipping it to play with my friends on XBL.
If I wanted better graphics, I'd always buy the PC version... then play by myself.
Haha!
And..
4. No pleasure in taking a REAL person's life.
5. No aim-bot, wall-hack, etc.
6. No respawn.
I know #6 is the same as #3. :)
I'll simply say that a perfect 10 (or even 0) is like a asymptote you might have learned about in calculus. One can get very very close to it, but never quite touch perfection.
Perhaps they should add a few more decimal places. :P
that the price of a peripheral will match the price of the console itself.
I'll eat crow if I'm wrong. Figuratively speaking.
Who'd disagree with him for pre-ordering. HAHA!
Or are you actually trying to convince people with Xbox360's to buy a PS3 just so they can play RDR without pop-ups (and perhaps in sub-720p)?
In due time you will realize how insignificant these moments of console-pride (not going to use the f-word) are to the rest of your life. Hint: Sony will not thank you...
But of course, if you do own Sony stock, or are employed by Sony, then carry on!
Probably the only game I anticipated that was canceled. For those of you whom don't remember B.C., it was a Lionhead Studios production about prehistoric tribes people. Oh hell, I hardly remember what it was about anymore, just read here: http://xbox.ign.com/objects...
During my teen years when this was in the oven. So a lot of QQ involved when it got canned.
Same reason. I only buy PS3 exclusives. Multi-platform games, especially those with online multiplayer, will most definitely go to my Xbox360.
My group of friends have been XBL members for over 6 years. It would be "stupid" to buy RDR for my PS3 while my friends play it on their X360s.
Maybe a Mario Kart clone, Rare is owned by Microsoft so Diddy Kong racing is more likely.
1. They wont even tell you when it's out.
2. To redeem its DLC, you'll need to mail a pint of blood and a baggie of your tears to "From Software." Even then, you wont get the DLC, because the baggie of tears imply that you cried and Demon's Souls 2 is not for SISSIES.
3. You cannot return Demon's Souls 2 or resell it as used. Demon's Souls 2 is never used, it only used you.
