Again, how is support for [more than] 2 players a [bad thing]?
I'm getting people disagreeing with my question as if support for more players on 1 Kinect device is bad. So less = better? If Kinect can detect more people, that is good news.
How dense can N4G people get?
How is supporting more than 2 players a bad thing?
It wouldn't be the first time hardware was sold at a loss by anyone, let alone Microsoft.
Let's blame Windows 7, yeah.. not the BETA game that it's running..
LOL FAIL!
These consoles are not "quiet." 53-56dB(A) is not quiet.
My last two gaming systems use air only cooling with fans that are spec'd at 30-35dB(A). Console gamers haven't the slightest idea of what [quiet] really is.
My PS3 and Xbox360 are screaming in comparison. And of course I'm going to get disagrees because of the console kiddies' knee jerk reaction on criticism.
Renee Herlocker was the, eh, "most talented" person in that entire video.
Gawker Media in general suck. Boycotting Kotaku because Brian Cercente is a monumental asshole. I'm not going to give any Gawker media website my ad traffic.
But... Gizmodo is primarily an Apple site, they generally don't share kind words about Microsoft products.
But looks curiously fun from its art direction to the quirky mechanics.
Where/when? Anduril, his sword, is a zweihander/claymore/2-handed sword.
PC fans are NOT hyping Crysis, we're the ones that were let down with Crysis 1 in the first place.
Aragorn doesn't use a shield..?
Looks mean. But only 45 dB(A) at idle? Could have done way better than that.
Excellent article though. <3 Anand.
Crysis 1 went awry with mediocre enemy AI and linear gameplay. It wasn't quite the sandbox game we hoped, but generally garnered favorable reviews. Expecting more of the same from Crysis 2.
As for the article... poor writing. "[Lets] be honest guys, [everyday] we hear.." "we have [a big overview of what to expect.]" "Fanboys are coming from every team and defending [there] console.." The title is "Crysis 2 is officially overhyped" ...
In boardgames. Would love to see games like Agricola, Tide of Iron, Space Hulk, and many many more make their way to iPhone/android/XBL/PSN.
I like! Wish we'd all get an update with the new boot screen.
The featured comments are FUD, while the factual posts are buried in the mud.
Although its name is unimaginative, actually has a very DEEP single player campaign. Could have used a bit more time in the oven, the battle map in particular was a bit rough around the edges.
Looking forward to Lionheart.
Of course, but his point was the [quality] of the games. NYC_Gamer claims quality will somehow suffer because of the storage media used, which is simply false. I could store a game on 1000 floppy discs, 2 CDs, 1 DVD, or download it. It's all the same game.
But yes, at the moment a 50GB SSD card/drive goes for about $180-$200. A single 50GB BluRay disc is about $20.
What difference does the storage media make in the quality of the game? Right now I can go to a store and buy a game on DVD, BluRay, or sit at home and download it directly to my PC or console. They're all the same game.
What a ridiculous claim (@NYC Gamer).
I'm all for SSD, if it's affordable. Less moving parts, the better.
The standard warranty was ALWAYS 1 year for both Original and S models.
Read the warranty information yourself: http://support.xbox.com/sup...
The extended 3 year warranty is an addendum, which covered RROD and E74 errors.
