Kinda rolled my eyes at the thought of DS3, but maybe Square-Enix can rekindle the franchise. After Space Siege, it would seem Gas Powered Games is... out of gas? MmmHmmMmmmHmm!

I still think we need something that tastes WORSE, Raymo. Cap't Morgan by itself is pretty hairy, so Sunkist just dilutes it. Perhaps the Sunkist should be kept at room temperature to maximize the punishment.

Seriously though guys, this adds a lot of tension to the chainsaw element. Incredibly fun drinking game.

Same thing can happen in BFBC2 and RDR.

Empire Total War - pretty much after the first couple of fort battles, I decided the game was just not for me. Regular land battles were pretty fun for a while, but lacks the strategic depth found in the rest of the franchise.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - the single player campaign was alright, definitely better than Pandora Tomorrow's. But I was actually hugely disappointed in the multiplayer aspect. It is as if they learned nothing from Chaos Theory, which laid a perfe...

Whole lot of belly aching over the exclusion of mini-games in free roam. It would add a lot to replayability if my posse could be shooting up a gang hideout one minute, then be playing Liar's Dice/Hold em/Blackjack the next.

Is Havok any more consistent for multiplayer?

The way the models react to their environment in euphoria is very realistic, reaching out to brace against surfaces or break their falls. It's something I haven't seen in havok or any other rag doll iteration.

That lasso is easy to use, yes, but coding them for use in multiplayer might be trickier than we give them credit for.

For instance, I've noticed that euphoria motion (think rag doll physics) doesn't behave consistently across every players' game. I might blast a guy off his horse, then continue throwing knives at his corpse, but my buddy sees me throwing knives into the ground and his corpse a few feet away.

The lasso heavily relies on euphoria m...

is to lasso an NPC then drag him maybe a 1/4 mile behind the horse. Granted I have to go slower than I'd like else he'd break loose, but it's still hilarious.

Wish I could do this in MP, but it would make "griefing" worse than it already is.

I've got a spare one, want it? You may have to wash it off a bit before using it though.

Article is poorly written.

"Just like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid amongst others did, they two will find their way on other consoles."

They "too" not "two," and "find their way on other consoles?" Like on top of other consoles? Meant "on to," probably. Then there are numerous run-on sentences, misuse of the comma, trite phrases/cliches, and simply weak journalism.

UFC2K9 was entertaining, but I can only take so much mannequin on mannequin violence. Fight Night R3 had relatively fluid animations making for a visceral fighting experience. UFC lacks that, and I simply want an MMA game that has it.

I got a bit choked up over a few reunion scenes. No video game has ever moved me so much. Maybe KOTOR, slightly.

I can live without flailing wildly in front of my Xbox/PS3/Wii.

Slightly bad for gamers with spouses/friends/family that are otherwise uninterested in video games, though. Motion controls for Wii were the only thing that got my fiance casually interested in games. But it's only played at family get-togthers... so twice a month? I don't speak for everyone of course.

Of course HD-DVD drives are cheap now. How is their current price relevant? Godmars is probably comparing prices of NEW hardware. The format is as good as dead, as such the players have been liquidated.

When the format was still fighting the good fight, the players went for about $100. I wouldn't be surprised if this estimate is correct, although for the sake of my pocketbook, I hope it's sub-$100.

Proprietary hardware is notoriously expensive no mat...
