That said I think Sony should drop ps+ too. The games are shit now and most first party games are still not getting dedicated servers. Its a shameless toll booth which they are only getting away with because the competition is weak.

You assume console and PC games sell the same number of copies at the same price but they dont.
Early console sales murder early PC sales on the vast majority of multi-platform games, even though they cost more on console.
PC claws back the unit sold numbers later through steam sales and humble bundles but that revenue is loose change compared to the early full price console sales.

Most of these games are known for their action, not dialogue and character interaction, and they dont go deep enough into what the characters do apart from shooting. The IP owners of the video games wouldnt allow telltale to decide the personality of their characters considering they would be writing more dialogue for them than in the main game.

Consoles brought in more money, they paid most of the devs wages so they deserve the most time.... not the high-end PC's of a small minority who went for overkill.

The vast majority of devs that are multiplatform have a larger following, are making more money on console than PC.
People dont like to accept this then act all surprised when PC versions of games get shafted.
High revenue but low margin crap shifted to PC gamers who buy stuff because its cheap but never play 95% of it.
Console industry is still healthier. Better margins for devs and the option for gamers to resell any games that turn out to be shit, or they dont like them, or they're finished with them.

I used to buy games based on 'reply value', but then I started buying games without caring about if they had online or lasted x number of hours. Most of them are just as much fun as online games (and less frustrating too!).
