"Well the One X version will be the closest to the PC vesrion in any event."
You would hope so. Because right now the only game looking "beastly" and taking full advantage of the "BEAST" is Forza. Aren't I right Septic? The year long wait was worth it.
Damn...and here I was thinking it would look remotely close on console. I'm sure the PCs they use are speced out!
Nonetheless, the game is looking good!
"Just because you cant pay attention doesn't mean that people get to write articles and claim confusion. "
Who said I was confused? I could see easily through the shady wording that they had for the majority of their games.
MS have a hard time simply telling it as it is, which causes people to give them these critiques and criticism.
Their first party is practically non-existent. I really was expecting to see more after Phil's "42 games" comment. It ended up just being hot air again. A line that I'm sure the PR team pushed for, alongside the annoyingly confusing "Exclusive!" audio clip before each trailer.
Moldy is back! Saltiness and all based on his comment.
Honestly Moldy, I want to know, was the console EVERYTHING you wanted it to be? everything they hyped it up to be for the last year?
That's how confusing it was for some people. There were three types of wording, so people were bound to be confused with the announcer constantly saying "exclusive" on two of those three.
Aside from Metro and Anthem, it was a lackluster showing. Not much new and the price sure was a bitterness way to end.
Sony and Nintendo seriously have nothing to worry about.
And so it begins...
That there is reassuring news to me then! Appreciate the good info, man!
What else was new and noteable then?
Which ones? Aside from what was already known?
Ahh, thanks for the clarification!
So I'm guessing it's not as much a part of single player campaign??
Metro and Battlegrounds are my only highlight. In my honest opinion, everything else was lackluster.
Phil: "We have 42 games to show today!"
*Shows 4 painfully long demos*
*Speeds through 35 other multiplat side scrollers*
*Shows the remaining few*
Plenty of explosions, no destruction at all.
That's what I was thinking! They kept pushing that saying it was what made it a truly innovative experience "Only on Xbox".
Then they pull that stunt this year by not showing anything.
What did he say then?
I couldn't agree more with this article.
Anyone get annoyed by the whole "Exclusive" audio feature for just about every game that is multi platform?
And what was up with not showing total level destruction with Crackdown? They spend almost 15min with Sea of Thieves (almost fell asleep) and chose to only show a trailer for Crackdown.
Aside from Metro Exodus and Cuphead (was hoping for a full on trailer, not 20seconds of hype), I wasn't really taken back by anything they showed. Nothing that proved I'm missing out on something.
I'm hesitantly optimistic about EA's Anthem after getting burned with Andromeda.
Just saw the whole show and I'd say this is the best thing they showed! I'm a huge Metro fan so this is looking good.
Black eye? As great as cross play would be, it's easy to see how Sony just don't want to be associated with MS in it's currently unsuccessful state.
Sony still has minecraft. And honestly, Minecraft has lost its touch. That "Super Duper" skin that adds "God rays" of light won't be that much more helpful. It needs an overhaul, not simply a paint job.
