"Butterfly effect"
I see someone is familiar with Until Dawn! :D
Seriously the PS4 is hitting all fronts lately with first party (they don't have to be shooters or racers to count) and third party hits (Battlefront will be the biggest contender this year). Numerous features, great support for gamers with different tastes in games, games all year long that I've been playing, and amazing games to come (with amazing bundles).

Haha it's to catch all the people who don't read the article and are just here to troll because they don't like the guys opinion about enjoying the PS4 more.
...or it could be due to autocorrect lol
Not bashing Scalebound or anything...
...but I thought the main character in Scalebound was Shulk from Xenoblade when I saw the initial reveal.
The controller is definitely a defining hardware feature for the PS4.
People say that it's symmetry makes it uncomfortable, but that honestly makes no sense. If that were true then the keyboard you're using would be comfortable, and 99% of things you use in life with your hand would be uncomfortable.
- Bluetooth (something the Xbox one doesn't have to my knowledge)
- Headphone jack since launch
- move integrated light bar (used for AR and potentia...
I'm on a slight budget this holiday, so from the ones listed my top 5 (in order of what I'm excited for) would be:
1. MGSV
2. Battlefront
3. Fallout
4. Uncharted Collection
5. Tearaway
It's gonna be a great holiday with so many games coming out.
You're paying the same/more for less of what should be the same as others.
"It's also funny how almost everyone can't tell the differences between the two unless side by side comparisons are done and articles specifically point out what to look for."
No, what's funny is that you and others defend this practice. It's the equivalent of two people ordering a steak for the same price, one gets a prime cut and the other get a choice c...

All Star Wars games? There's only going to be one this year for the Xbox one. 4 extra games and a stylish collectors console and controller is what you'll be missing out on unfortunately. Seems like there is some stuff that'll be missed.
It really was expected with Sony having marketing rights to Battlefront.
And yeah I think so too, Star Wars is one of the top entertainment franchises. So some people probably won't be too happy not getting collectors editions of consoles for what is possibly going to be the biggest shooter this year.
"Frame rates is one area the xb1 consistently outshines the ps4."
You do realize that your statement is completely false right? Please provide some links or info if you're going to make a ridiculous claim like that. Just because you say it to yourself over and over doesn't make it true.
Because having an asymmetrical layout of anything dealing with our hands is scientifically known to be less ergonomic and less natural.
The thumb sticks? I'm pretty sure they fixed that within the first year.
Battery isn't bad at all. I'm glad I don't have to fork over any extra money just to use my controller.
Just seeing the color scheme of the controller brings back so many memories!
I've always stated that MS is a North American focused console both last gen and this gen. In no way am I saying it's a bad console. But in regard to it's big features... None should be exclusive to only NA. That there is the main reason (besides some early PR screw ups from the higher ups) that it doesn't do well over all in getting more people to its fanbase worldwide.
Bigger fanbase (sales) = more support

Unexpected? Nah a lot of people were looking forward to Rare Replay! It's a sweet deal for what it is. They're not new games, but it's a good deal.
System seller? Even less likely. With big name titles coming out very very soon **cough**cough** MGSV...or from those that have come out. This game itself is hardly a system seller.

It has everything to do with liability. That's the whole point of any software beta. If you release it without testing and it screws up everyone's console then you have a lot of people to reimburse (unless the agreement everyone clicks "agree" to states otherwise).
Having a small number of people (the reason for reaching capacity, allows it to only be a small percentage of all consoles so that if a software beta messes up their consoles it'...
No TLOU? MGS4? Gears of War? Super Smash Bros Brawl?
I get that it's an Xbox site and Sony killed it with a lot of exclusives last gen, but please…Look over games from all consoles again from last gen and let the list flow!
I brought it up because of liability, did you not read my comment at all? Software liability is just as important and hardware liability. Just like any other software beta for any hardware, there is the possibility of it messing up the system during testing or updates. It happens more than you think for a lot of tech.
I'm sure my whole post to you seemed only like the letters "RROD" bolded with no other text. But, please read the remaining part of the sentence. ...
I think part of it is a liability consideration to the cap. Grow the cap and you'll have increase liability if a software were to affect the console negatively somehow. Keep the cap where it is and you'll have no increased liability and you'll keep the Xbox Preview program private and more exclusive.
After the RROD (even though it was hardware related) I'm sure MS considers that anything that has the potential to affect a lot of consoles should be kept low bu...
You should've read it instead of assuming what the article was about. It was talking about sales across all generations of consoles.
And in regards to your comment. Doesn't the company have to be profitable on the console they sell for said company to make $$$ from it?
PS2 was hands down the best console! Countless hours of games in all varieties on it. That's what made it so successful.
"At 156 million sales, no console has ever had bigger domination over the market. Of course, Sony screwed it all up with the PS3…"
How did Sony screw up the PS3?
- Bluetooth (Something that some consoles today don't even have…)
- Wireless Controller by bluetooth
- Wi-Fi support out of the box
Not much of a difference. Except in my opinion I'd recommend using your hard earned money to buy the better console version on all aspects to know that you're getting truly the best experience possible in everything.
I cannot wait to start it up! I've been eager to play a new installment since MGS4. Ground zeroes was too much of a tease for me lol
And for people who will defend against what I stated:
- It's the equivalent of two...
