If a similar outcome were to happen late this gen and next gen though, then expect the Xbox brand to become majorly focused in software (like the windows Xbox app, major franchises under their publishing) after an exit out of hardware.
Software has always been the core of MS. So that'll never go away.
I'm all for remasters, but I think comparing two sets remasters to a new IP is hardly fair if you want a true comparison of what there is to offer and what is "dominating".
If you had compared Gears vs GOW for the Summer season. Then I'd 100% understand where you're coming from.
There are some great games coming to Xbox One, there's no denying that. Even if you try, you're just making a fool out of yourself.
Now if only they'd spread them out throughout the year instead of over saturating their exclusive market during the holidays. Halo 5 is going to cannibalize the sales and drive of other Xbox exclusives, while games like Battlefront, Fallout, COD (even though I hope it dies) go after the majority of the gaming market.

I think it's gonna be just like August and how September is going to be. PS4 at the top. The only reason I say that is because Halo doesn't come out till the end of the month. No way it'll move enough consoles in a few days to turn the tide for the whole month. November is the toss up since that's when the BIG games come out.

I can see why Playstation is at the top again. Sony has been just hitting it at every corner of variety in games. Not ...
Well when a $150 tech item does what MS has its $500 main focus on from the start **cough*cough**...TV. It makes people ask questions like this.
The writers do an awesome job of describing these game modes so that you can imagine them in your head. However, some gameplay would still be greatly appreciated! :D
Here's to being excited for this year's biggest and most anticipated FPS/TPS!
The fact that the PS4 sold more than the following 5 combined is an accomplishment itself!

Happy One Year in Japan MS! It can only go up from here.
"I had barely posted this and had 2 disagrees right away..... well done, go to another article and do the same people.... not like you have games to play on your system it seems…."
I think it's the fact that you said that the only thing that matters is that all of them are "very" happy. When I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that.
And if you're referring to the PS4, there's plenty of games to play. Idk why people s...
The fact that the PSTV (which is a great micro-console), or even a Nintendo handheld that came out in Feb. 2011 is outselling the Xbox One is red flag that MS should consider their relevance in Japan.
You do realize that you're comparing the same number of consoles sold…one which took a timespan of a week (PS4 like you mentioned) and one that took a whole year (Xbox One).
Why should the fact that MS is doing bad in Japan be swept under the rug?
Exactly what I was thinking in terms of comparison. People also compare the third party game situation on Xbox one a lot with how it was for the PS3 at the time. I clearly remember so many pixel counting articles.
First party games on the PS3 actually looked and played much better than anything that came out multiplat last gen on the PS3. Games like TLOU are a perfect example of how there actually was a HUGE difference between consoles.
The same really can...
The sense of speed has nothing to do with FPS or it being 1080p.
It has to do with putting duplicates of things next to each other while going through the track. Driving by a row of 10 flags side by side will make the car seem like it's going WAY faster than if the car were driving by 3 spaced apart flags.
The same goes for banners, checkered patterns on the track, trees, houses along the track (notice how all the houses are tall, skinny and tightly packed), bri...
Imagine a full head on collaboration between the story/narrative guys of Naughty Dog and the visual/graphical experience from Ready at Dawn!
I could only dream of a sequel to TLOU with the same gorgeous looks as the Order 1886. It'd probably look similar to the pictures from the article posted earlier:
Smart move by Naughty Dog! It'll only make an already beautiful game even more beautiful.
There's really no arguing that in regards to graphics, NO game that has come out this year or is coming out this year has come even remotely close to the graphical fidelity of The Order: 1886.
Because it costs the same price as a normal PS4 without anything. Is the math that hard?
Nowhere does this say "special edition bundle". So why not take it for what it is instead of for what its not.
Stuff like this happens a lot outside of the gaming community. A lot of companies get away with it but eventually get caught. This probably won't make headlines since it was almost two years ago. But still, if you do it once you're bound to do it again.
And just in case people say that this was all on Machinima and no indication that MS was involved. This is what the article didn't mention as well:
"Under the conditions of the 2013 agreement ...
@Persistantthug
If I'm correct, MS confirmed it in some strange star wars parody video with Major Nelson they did last month.
What I don't understand is why some people on this site acts like everyone with an xbox has EA access to take advantage of this?
Same here! I called this right after hearing about the PC alpha.
Can't wait to try it out on the PS4, especially considering that it's the lead platform for this game.
Beta or not, it's still playing the game. Unless the game is going to be completely overhauled in a month. PC was first and now everyone gets to play it at the same time.
EA access will let you play the game. But it's not going to be majorly different than the beta.
Never said that? What I said is that if they are to lose just as much money again sometime either during this gen if next... It will more than likely happen.
Way to take my comment out of context. Money speaks more than anything in any industry.
