Kinect Adventures (a.k.a. Kinect bundle) outsold PS3 Red Dead Redemption AND COD:BO...the top 2 sellers of 2010.
That's right...a $150 add-on, for a console that obviously doesn't do well in Finland, based on the total sales #s... outsold the top 2 games of 2010 on the PS3.
You know, it's real freakin' simple: These are Youtube videos...so you post them as the source, and NOT the !@*&$*! translate.google.de BS from videogamerzone.de. Not to mention, these vids look like they were shot with a cellphone ; I'd rather wait another day or two for Episode 403 to show up on GTTV, in FULL HD.
I also found it funny that somebody from Codemasters would make such a statement, when OF:DR was such a flaming POS, and they've not even had the gonads to show more than a stupid CGI teaser for Bodycount.
As bad as the COD franchise has gotten, it's gonna take a helluva lot more than PR speak from this guy to get me to entrust my FPS $$ to Codemasters. I loved BLACK, but I really have my doubts about Bodycount.
...with newer games that they aren't already saturated with, especially if applied toward a new release or pre-order. The last time they did this, I got $48.00 for Halo Reach towards Fallout NV...and I'd gotten Halo Reach off Amazon for $55.00 (no tax & free shpg).
I just took advantage of the $40 special on Dead Space 2 from Amazon, so when I finish it, I'm trading it to GameStop toward either Crysis 2 or Brink...or some other upcoming pre-order like L.A. ...
"Out with the old, in with...more old sh*t"?
We already know their plans for COD, with more devs working on the franchise, for multiple releases within each year. Then there's the Spider-man franchise (don't get me started on that one), and their recent announcement of a Spyro reboot.
It's safe to say Activision has run out of ideas, and is only interested in breaking the "law of diminishing returns", and maximum profitability w...
With Forge 2.0 being so popular, there are literally hundreds of amazing maps to choose from...and more surely to come. Why the hell would ANYONE waste $$ on a map pack, when they have a near-limitless supply of FREE maps coming all the time??
If MM released level packs for LBP, would anyone buy them? Sure, a few diehard fans would, just to show their (foolish) support for a dev....but not many would bother.
... videogamezone.de , and their crappy screenshot slideshow BS. In fact, I hate any site that has to go through the translate.google filter PERIOD.
...because we all know PS3-biased reviewers never actually bother to review any PS3 games. /s
Uncharted: DF was a complete rip-off of Tomb Raider...right down to copying the platforming mechanics. My wife and I were playing Uncharted, and kept thinking "wow...it's just like TR". We loaded up a few game saves from TR:Underworld on the 360, and had it running on our 50" plasma in the living room, while Uncharted was still playing on the 42" in the bedroom. Just as we thought, the climbing, swinging, jumping, etc. from Uncharted looked identical to those of TR...
Black and White for Kinect.
"Dew ya theenk it sawrus?"
"It..was a giant EYE"
Um...since when is XBL Gold not an "option"??? There are actually millions of gamers the world over, that don't give a rat's azz about online MP gaming...so XBL Silver is perfectly suited for them.
"...Move controller will supposedly measure the twist and angle of your swing. This is not possible on the Kinect version. It's disappointing, but the Kinect hardware just can't track minute body motions like wrist rotation. "
COMPLETE BS....from a guy who OBVIOUSLY never played Kinect Sports.
1.) MS didn't "show" you this video...it wasn't even meant for you. What part of "behind closed doors" did your little mind not comprehend?
2.) This has NOTHING to do with the 360, or gaming... it's a demo for controlling your home with a future tech. Perhaps you and your "hardcore" friends should learn a few basic facts....and grow some facial hair...before you attempt to post on adult topics. :o
...and it's launch titles. "Don't MOVE your feet!"...in a FIGHTING game, designed specifically for MOVE.
Double-Yew-Tee-Eff ???
...it'd be tough to disagree with him. I mean, how can you justify shipping crap like Turok and Tron...and canning POTC:AOTD ???

...that's not subtle AT ALL.
...with Move. Nobody knew what to call it, until about 6 months before it was to ship to retail....and there was hardly any advertising until late 2010. Sony just continues to cut off it's nose, to spite it's face, when it comes to marketing. :o
