@ IPUMPMYGUN : If you think about it, a Halo:CE remake WOULD BE a reboot of the franchise. Reach brought things full circle, as Bungie's swan song...then the torch is passed to 343, and the Halo:CE remake...using the Reach engine...gives them a fresh start.
...and that includes the recent $10 increase. Prior to that, I was consistently buying 12 mo. or even 12+1 mo. cards off Amazon for sub-$40. 3 different times I've caught the XBL Messenger Starter Kit on sale for $55-$60, and just traded/sold the game, chat pad and headset. The last one I got even came with 400 MS pts, and I got back $15 trade from Amazon for the game & chat kit. I always keep a few extra subs on hand, because I stock up on the deals ; plus I've given a cou...
...because hardly anyone had the balls to seed it, lol. It took me most of a day to download, with a 20 mb connection, because there were very few seeders (likely afraid of getting caught). When I downloaded mine, there were never more than 10 people seeding...sometimes less. Most people would likely not have the patience to wait, which is why it wasn't downloaded a lot.
I'm glad I did though, because even though I already have the 360 version pre-ordered throug...
...just because I was curious. I have it pre-ordered for the 360 already, and might get it for my PC, after it's been out for a few months, and has been patched for the worst bugs. I bought the first one at launch (pre-ordered at Wal-Mart :o ), and bought Warhead off Steam when it dropped to $20.
I don't pirate games...ever. I only use torrents for obscure movies (usually foreign) that didn't/won't get released here (like Soloman Kane)... or really bad h...
Yeah, I downloaded the Crysis 2 leaked Beta copy, and played some of it today. It's only a beta version....and missing a lot of details... yet Killzone 3 looks last-gen by comparison.
...you can't expect people on N4G to actually "read" anything before commenting. :o
BTW, Metro 2033 was severely underrated...largely because it had no MP whatsoever. Like Half-Life and Condemned: CO, it was refreshing to play a creepy FPS that actually had a story, great set pieces, and gameplay variety, without MP taking away from the experience.
However, if I were him, I'd have simply said "The signature, which cannot be posted, per eBay policy...sounds an awful lot like parasailin', when read aloud. ;)
Without fail, in every article, posters prove that they:
1.) didn't bother to read the article, yet tried (in vain) to comment on it.
or
2.) fail so miserably at reading comprehension, that their comment(s) expose them for the idiots they truly are.

Why the hell is it $59.99 ?? Hell, most places are already selling COD:BO @ sub-$50, and COD:MW2 has been sub-$40 for awhile. 0_o

He's only talking about how early in the process they talked about and showed some of AW ; they are running a MUCH tighter op...
10 hours for the SP campaign, and 50 for the MP...after which point you give up waiting for a patch, and go back to playing Reach, COD:BO, or KZ3. :o
