Thats why when I picked up Gears 2 to play with some of my friends who were playing Gears 1 everyday, they went right back to the original after waiting 20 minutes to get a match.

For PC to be lead dev in an open world game, that would likely have to port to consoles with no foliage/ 10ft draw distance/choppy visual effects. Thats just not going to happen.

can't say I like the idea of every somewhat-interesting tweet being submitted... maybe N4G should have a popular tweet stream section so that submissions aren't as flooded. This kind of thing is just as annoying as trolling for hits with out-of-context interviews....except:

Limitations breed innovations. Sure an indie dev might support 16xAA on a pc game, but it might take massively higher requirements to look GOOD (not "smooth" not "clean" but subjectively "good") compared to a company with a bigger budget and more specific goals, OR a console game made to be optimized in addition to having a clear vision for art direction.

umm...maybe you should read that back to yourself.
Basically, if this were an action game on its own, I would see how that complaint made sense, as they can take you out of the *action*, but as an MMORPG, it really doesn't stand out as a pacing issue after years of stilted combat and spell channeling.

Hopefully they don't hang back too far. It will negate any usefulness if they are constantly making assault guys stop assaulting, run back to where the support guys camping out, and lose the advantage they just fought for.
Support needs to be mobile or people will just be selfish as usual.

TBH though, the best quality about E3 is being on the show room floor PLAYING the games. I'm sure its going to be the best E3 for a lot of people playing the games they've been hearing about for so long, just not as surprising.
