Anything can be on GamePass if it’s paid for. But as you mentioned I don’t think Take 2 would be willing to sell Rockstar or the GTA IP. If a gamepass deal occurs, I’d question if 2k would have a physical release on xbox at that point
You can use a DualShock 4 or Dualsense on a PS3. You can use a PS1 and 2 controller on a PS3 with an adapter.
What you are asking for is a wired Dualsense, or a wireless receiver for a Dualsense to play on PS1 and PS2. Everything else is already compatible out of the box.

Mine expired the other day. I won’t renew until I want to play multiplayer again. I still have some coop stuff in a few games I own but I’m not in a rush to finish it.
Eventually I’ll renew PS Plus just for mp. Rarely do I actually play PS Plus monthly titles and I probably have close to 350 games in my library
They were at first, like most of the studios Sony purchased. Sony didn’t purchase them until after LBP2
The ABK games are cancelled for Nintendo too, it’s not just PS. Both user bases won’t have the next iterations of Crash/Spyro/Tony Hawk etc. on their console of choice, under the guise of ‘creating more choices.’
The shoe will be on the other foot sooner or later, and I won’t be celebrating that consolidation either

Uh, they did. They just closed Japan and PixelOpus recently because AA titles didn’t sell. Guerilla Cambridge and BigBig also ring a bell from the last 5 years or so

If I remember correctly, LA Noire was being developed by Team Bondi under a 3 game exclusivity contract with Sony. For some reason the contract was terminated and development of LA Noire by Bondi was cancelled, but resumed by Rockstar half complete and released as multiplatform. Agent was supposed to be an exclusive title by Rockstar in return for LA Noire.
I’m sure there’s many more details I don’t remember as it was 15 years ago. Some of GTA5 is recycled from Agent though...
